Exchange rate dropping!

The USD/GBP exchange rate plummeted last night (two days before I was going to order mine!! )

Travelex still have the rate at 1:84. Online FX has 1.8277.

With Travelex do you have to pick up the currency from the airport if you order on line?

I should have ordered some more last week!

I believe that yes, you have to pick up the currency from the airport with Travelex (they will not deliver).

Please increase exchange rate!

Don't Travelex have branches outside of the airports (ie in London?)
The website says there are some but they don't come up when you have to choose where to pick the currency up from!

Travelex do have branches around and about, but to use the online service (and take advantage of the better rate) you have to collect the currency from one of the airport kiosks. You can choose landside kiosks which is great if you live close to an airport - you can just whip across and pick up currency you have ordered when the rate is good.

If this doesn't suit you, if you order online from Tiscali (there are others as well), they do deliver, and the rate is normally v close to Travelex online, although there is usually a delivery charge.

Am sooo glad we bought ours last year when the exchange rate was good, It has gone up a tad since we bought ours but not enough to regret buying early.

Can recommend onlinefx for service & value. Used several times for Dollars & Euros.

Thanks all. I actually use Onlinefx myself (current rate 1.8318) but this morning travelex was slightly better.....for about an hour anyway, then someone woke up and changed the rate down to 1.8297!

Onlinefx back up slightly today @ 1.8362 - if it hits 1.85 I'll jump at it!
