Exchange e-tickets for cards?

So I had my FIL jump on buying our tickets Friday night, saved us at least $300 if not more since we bought 6-day hoppers and they don't even sell them. He's quite happy!
Anyway, my question is this, we bought them from Ares Travel and they were sent to us in an e-mail attatchment. They say that we walk right up to the turnstiles and use them. However, we will be there for 6 days and I'd rather not have to carry around a big 8&1/2 x 11 piece of paper the whole time.
Is there any way for us to exchange them for the regular credit-card sized tickets?

At the turnstyles they will give you a regular ticket...but not the hard credit card sized ones...thick paper ones that size. They fit in the FP machined just like the hard plastic cards. I say "paper", but they are pretty hardy...I've never torn one.

Perfect! Thanks! I didn't even think about the FP machines! I was just thinking I didn't want to carry around those big 'ole pieces of paper for a week!

For those that are curious, the tickets that they give you are not made out of paper, but rather Tyvek, which is actually used in construction and is very durable, almost to the point of being impossible to tear.

Actually, for tickets purchased through Ares, you got a voucher that you printed out. You will need to take that voucher and purchaser ID to a ticket window to exchange them for individual tickets. Only those e-tickets purchased from Disney directly can you exchange at the turnstyle.

I thought I told him to go to Ares, but now I"m not sure where he went. Our tickets are e-vouchers and say to go directly to the turnstiles. (I'm thinking he may have ignored me and gone directly to Disney to purchase them.) Either way, I'm glad we have them!

I purchased from Disneyland.com and have the e-Ticket. Is it possible to present them to the hotel (Grand Californian) and have the tickets added to our room keys?

Yes, you can exchange your Disneyland.com e tickets for real tickets at the hotel. However, at DL, tickets are not put on the room keys like at WDW, as far as I know.

We had e-tickets from AAA last year, we took them straight to the entry gate and had them traded for tickets......I know that's not Ares, but I don't know that AAA tickets would be considered tickets purchased from Disney since they weren't.....lol

That's a new thing with AAA, I forgot about them. Anyway, Ares and Getaway Today are still vouchers that you have to exchange at a ticket booth.

Actually they are purchased from Disney. My credit union site is directed to Disney as well, you just get them at the AAA or credit union pricing.

I ordered from Get Away Today and did not even get a print out, just an email that says:

"Note: ALL Disney tickets are delivered electronically. You may pick up your tickets at any Disney window with photo ID."

That makes me nervous.

Don't be. Print the email if you are concerned, take it to the ticket booth with a photo ID and they'll give you your tickets. Printing the email isn't a necessity, but if they are having trouble finding them in their system it gives them enough information to track it down (in cases of misspelling a name or putting last name first in the system, etc).

We also booked through Getaway Today and we got a voucher with instructions on it when we got all of our vacation documents. We booked our hotel through them as well so maybe that was the difference??
