I just have to share with everyone the exception service I received while staying at the CBR. I can't remember what I went in to buy at the Calypso Trading Store; but the clerk, Nora, asked me where we were going for the day. I replied MK because dd couldn't get enough of riding Dumbo! Melissa over heard me telling Nora this. She said they had just gotten in some nice plush Dumbos. She lead me over to where they were. Unfortunately they were gone already. She said to check back the next day. I did; but they hadn't gotten any in. The following day I saw Melissa again. She went to the back to see if anymore had arrived yet. Since they didn't get any in she took my name and room number. She started calling immmediately to find one; but gave my dd a Dumbo pin off her lanyard. Tuesday evening (night before Christmas Eve.) we got back to our room. There was a message on our phone. No Dumbo's anywhere on property until end of January. However she did find one at a local Disney Store. She said she would be happy to go and get it for us. I went to see her immediately. Gave her money and told her to keep the rest as a tip for being so kind. She came in at 3:30 Christmas Eve. She had it waiting for us to make sure we liked it. It was perfect! She handed me my receipt and change. She refused to take a tip. I asked to speak to someone; but I think she may have been the manager as she said she would be the person to talk to. Not many people would go out their way especially on Christmas Eve like that! So, to Melissa a million Thank- you's would never be enough!

Believe Disney will hear of this exceptional and outstanding service! If you see Melissa there tell her hello from me. Mention Dumbo, I am sure she'll remember!

That is nice to hear. We've stayed at CBR all 3 times we've been do WDW and have never been disappointed. We were there in September, the year of the hurricane and WDW closed for the day. We were told there would be no food service the next day. The CBR's food court's workers had mostly abandoned their restaurants and headed home in fear of the hurricane. So, you can imagine how long the lines were with people trying to get food. I waited in line about 2 1/2 hours. Anyways, the workers that stayed and worked the EXTREMELY long lines (while giving the guests food at 1/2 price) were nothing but gracious and treated each guest like they were the first guest of the day.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience!! I love to read posts where people had such a great time.

Thanks again for posting!

Wow, that's wonderful!

I hope you are able to write to Disney and tell them what a wonderful CM they have.

It's so nice to read about CMs who go above and beyond :) We've always had excellent service from very friendly CMs at CBR!! :)

Wow, that is wonderful service. If you write to Disney guest communications they will put a note in her file.

It's always so nice to hear of the outstanding customer service. Many times I only read about the declining service and attitudes so this reassures me. I can't wait to try CBR in March and I'm even more excited after reading your post! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Here is the snail mail address to commend great service by a CM:

Walt Disney World Guest Communications
P.O. Box 10000
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-1000

I wrote to this address about an exceptional CM experience we had with a CM in EPCOT last year, and WDW actually called me to thank you for my letter, and assure me that the CM would be recognized.

It's a great story, and what a great CM she was!!!
