Excellent SSR stay!

That was us! DH loves that BWV shirt and it attracts attention. I have one too, but didn't bring it with me this time. I know it's a man's shirt, but one of my DS's bought it for me (the DS who doesn't like Disney very much, but knows we do), and I just didn't have the heart to take it back. I think of him when I wear it.

I didn't ask for extra tomatoes but I imagine that they gave me more than usual! Thanks for mentioning that yours was grilled...I didn't know grilling was an option. I would have gone for that if I knew.

He offered it to me when I ordered it. DH wants to know if the burger was good? We heard him ask about done-ness. DH kind of gave me a look at the time, but then at AK we had burgers for lunch and DH says, "Now this is cooked to death," referring to your DH's comment at the Turf Club. We agree that burger doneness is an issue. And I guess either he and I need more to converse about or need to stop eavesdropping or the tables were too close.....

DH's burger was pink inside, and that was exactly the way the server described "medium." Our unhappiness with burgers doesn't have it's origin in WDW, but in Cincinnati, where we both have had them done to death and not to our order. So we tend to shy away from eating them out. DH took a chance and enjoyed his, but it was very large.

Did you have the potato chips they make? I did and thought they were very good. I like that sort of potato chip. I admit that I still had a bit of room, and went to the Artist Pallete and had some milk and the chocolate brownie. That brownie didn't disappoint at all!

I noticed your DD feeding the horsies, and that was cute. The tables were close to each other. I am sorry now that I didn't smile, say "Hi, my name is Bobbi!"

The potato chips were great. The Plaza has similar ones. We had a brownie from AP on Sunday night. It was good. We prefer the German Chocolate cookies from Germany/Goofy Candy Co. But the brownie was good too.

The feeding is probably cuter to other people than it is to us--especially when it goes INto the mac and cheese. Dry lettuce is one thing....

What a great trip. Last night DH and I were saying our legs were still sore and that it was from being at AK on Tuesday. We've never done a park on our departure day. It was so fun!

SSR is our home resort and we have never been disappointed! Glad to hear that you had such a great trip! 2 days at Disney is always better than 2 days at home!

And, really, with our room ready at 10 something AM on Saturday, and ME at 5PM on Monday, we had 3 days!:goodvibes I know I got to do everything I had planned, and more. There are 2 off site restaurants I like...Giordanos' for the deep dish pizza, and IHOP for the pancakes. We don't have an IHOP anywhere near our house, and usually we both like our pizza Jersey style, like Mack's pizza in Wildwood NJ, this is the only other pizza we care for. Then on site, I like the Kona Cafe where we share an order of Tonga toast and something else, this time a ham and cheese omlet which was very very good, and at Seasons in Epcot, we both like the salmon dinner!

I mentioned to DH that we just have to schedule a weekend away more often, and he reminded me that we will be in WDW for longer stays 4 more times this year, ending on New Years Day!:rolleyes1

:cool1: Can't wait for our first stay at home! The Turf Club is on our dining list too.

I hope your wait goes quickly, and your meal is enjoyable. There were other things on the menu that I would like to try as well!:goodvibes

Oh, another thing...we bought an SSR print. We added on SSR points via resale last fall, and didn't like the prints they had in January. Well, now they have one that we both like. It has a lake fountain view, with the cylo in the background, and a Spring building and a blossoming tree. Now, we have prints for our 6 DVC homes.:thumbsup2
