What codes are you using? The best I come up with is approx. $200 (tax included) for a mid-size SUV for 8 days. Maybe it's our dates - May 26 thru June 3?![]()
Jennifer Frommer said:That coupon is from alamo but you have to use that code and the coupon code together... you can't mix and match. I did by accident (mistyped the 2 & 4 in the "D42C" coupon code but turned out to be a real coupon anyways...
"D42C" is from alamo too but it's for $15.00... however, when I use that code combined with the walmart code, I do much better than with the 701... number.
Good luck!!

Thanks!

(D24C and D42C) for my upcoming trip April 11-April 19. Each reservation has saved me money or gotten me a bigger vehicle. I just reserved from Alamo a minivan Chevy Uplander or Similar. Using the Walmart ID 430710, product code BY and coupon code D24C the quoted price total is $252. Wonderful. I printed out the confirmation and where the coupon credit is applied it read "Air Miles Gift Certificate Us ($50.00)". Past attempts at making similar reservations using D42C always rendered "$15 Alamo weekly coupon in this space". The D24C coupon code came from the entertainment website and was intended to be $25. I'd like to go with it and see what happens, but I am a person who hates surprises especially ones that cost me more money. I could always relegate it in my mind that I will pay $302 and if Alamo doesn't catch the "mistake" then I get it for $252. Anyone experience the same thing today or have any comments on my dilemma. Thanks!!!
Jennifer Frommer said:There should be no problem mixing and matching codes however, you have to look at your coupon. If your coupon states that you need to use in conjunction with a certain rate code, than you need to use that rate code. If no specific code is required than you can mix and match as works best for you!!
