Yikes!!

I was on the computer checking rates just about an hour ago but needed to take care of other things... went back to rebook (same price) but using different codes and the rates were definitely higher! What a difference a few minutes makes!!

It did allow me to change my codes but it actually kept my rate the same so that was good! YIKES!!

In order to use the Walmart code, you just have to be a Walmart customer? You don't need to show or do anything?
I just booked using this code and it's saving me $55.00

You don't need anything, just a print out of your reservation and you're good to go!

I booked last week for our van from MCO back to Mco for 11 days may 1st to the 11th got it for 230 and change with the costco rate coupons, today I cheaked it and its at 383 and change which is over 400 canadian WOW total canadian I am paying from booking last week is 267 canadian! They do have to honor this price to me because I printed my confermation right??

Yes, they will honor it,but DO NOT forget to bring the printout with you! My DH flew down after we did and he rented the car I had reserved(for him)it was a VERY CHEAP rental thru Alamo(I had done it MONTHS earlier and then just revised it to fit our days.) Well they could not BELIEVE the price and tried to charge him WAY more,but I had WARNED him this MAY happen and HAVE the paperwork with you! He did and they did honor it! (Also if your time frame does change,like his did, just revise the RES.instead of making a NEW one and it will keep the same rate.) Joan

Ok thank you I did print it all out I noticed today when checking that I didnt put my flight number in, so I went to revise my booking and noticed when I modified it , it showed my price changed to 20 dollars more ??? Anyway I didnt revise it to add my flight number in but called them to do it for me and she told me my price and it was the same after she did it ... not 20 dollars higher. Weird when I went to do it it tried to charge me more lucky I noticed it and didn't finalize my change!

But what will you do if they DO ask for Costco ID? I am a Costco member, and I have no idea why they do not ask for membership # to access these coupons.

I thought the purpose of the DIS Budget Board was to help people... to help other families who love Disney too and to help everyone save money.

I have bought dozens of Entertainment books, am a member of other discount clubs and I have helped others on numerous occasions. I'm not doing anything special but doing what I thought was the point of the budget board... helping others.

If it makes others feel better, I'll ignore my BJ's membership and drive an hour and a half to the closest Cosco and buy a membership there. UUGGHH!!

I got a minivan for my dates 7 days for $117 after taxes!!! the weekly rental rate is $84 before tax!

So guys go check your rates today!! Pretty soon they will be paying us to rent the car!

Rates on Minivans and SUV's dropped again this morning... my minivan was a base of $137 for 8 days. Yeah!!

The Cosco link provided by someone earlier in the thread can lead you straight to that site and there codes (I think they are: #675899 and coupon code: DU3B... but my notes are scrambled at the moment)... or you can use the Walmart code: 430710... there are some different coupons you can use with them too... one (from Alamo website) is: D42C for $15.00 off minivan or SUV.

Just sharing a quick email I received from Alamo today. They are now allowing the 15% off prepay WITH online check-in for those of you who like avoiding the counter. If anyone uses it, please post your experience when you get back. I hope it goes smoothly and is something they continue.
