So many ask about splitting their contracts and reasons to do so. I have a 25 point OKW resale contract that I bought to get into the system to later be able to purchase VGC points before the general public and in contract sizes that would work for my family, not being locked into Disney's 160. I've done this and have my 3 small VGC contracts so it became the time to sell my OKW points :( . I listed with the Timeshare Store and within hours had an offer. I declined the offer and went on my merry way. The next day I received a call that it was sold at full asking price. Saturday afternoon listed, Monday morning sold. And looking at the sale prices of OKW it looks like I got 8-10 more per point than larger contracts.
I certainly don't think anyone should get 10 25 pointers for 250, but it is advantageous for many reasons to break that 250 into contracts at or under 100 IMO.
Just my little bit of DVC advice....oh..and remember why your contract is stripped before you list it. I had forgotten when I upgraded my studio to a 1 BR for my upcoming trip that I'd used OKW points to do so :scared1: Luckily my travel date is soon and will happen before closing, it could have been a problem if I'd used them for the January 11 trip.
