Exactly how to book package?

My fiance, currently in Iraq, agreed to do an intimate wedding in Disney World. We are going to do a land/sea honeymoon, so if I understand correctly, we can do an intimate "add-on." How exactly does one go about doing this? I'd call FTW and say what I had in mind right? Then I'd receive a contract in the mail sometime, will he need to fill anything out, if so is it "time sensitive?" Mail takes awhile to get back and forth from there and I wouldn't want the contract to become void because of this little bump in the road. Oh I'm so excited now!!

As far as booking the wedding you can do it all yourself. He doesn't have to sign anything for disney. Good luck!

That is not accurate. At least not for custom weddings. I would ask your SM directly when you speak to them.

He will have to sign the contract with Disney. My husband is stationed in Korea and has been since shortly after we got engaged. They allowed for him to fax back the signature page, with the understanding that he would mail the page to them immediately after. This was mandatory from Disney and there was no way around it. It is part of the liability fr if you cancel the wedding at a later date.

In terms of time sensativity, I believe I had a week or so to send the signed contract back to Disney and that is why Brian faxed the page back and mailed it the next day. Mail from Korea can take upwards of a week for a letter, so it would have put us way over the time limit.

I called the FTW number yesterday and was told someone would be in contact with me today, and a very nice young lady called and confirmed that the YC Gazebo would be available May 19th, 2005 and at 1 pm, it's mine!! A small intimate add-on wedding!! I'm so excited!
