Exactly how does one member transfer points into another members acct.?

PM me....I'll tell you the safest way to do it. :wizard:

Okay thanks :thumbsup2

There is someone that posted 39 points that I want. Technically I need 45 but I will just do the 15 buck per point thing and pay the 90 bucks. This lady has 39 points for 7 bucks a point.

Why not share the information with everyone? - that's the purpose of the forum.

To transfer points to another member, the member transferring the points just needs to contact MS with the name and city of the member receiving the points. The membership number is NOT necessary. The transfer is made and the points are usually available for use within 24 hours since the transfer is made manually.

Some will do this with a 3-way call so everyone can hear the transaction as it is made, but that is not necessary.

The other member asked me for my name and member number. I did put in two calls to MS to ask a couple of questions and they said that the other member needed my member number and name. However she has not gotten back with me with her paypal info. yet.

I would certainly check with MS again. I have also called and was told they only need the name and city/state of residence of the receiving member (they can look up the member info with that information). Many have posted here over the years that the member number was not needed.

It is not enough to confirm the point amount but that the points are eligible to be transferred. That's why I don't accept copies or images of available points, say from the member website. The only way to confirm the points can in fact be transferred is to hear it from MS via a 3 way call. Also, the MS people need the members membership number for TRANSFERS. If your just renting names and addresses are all that's necessary. I'm sure others will disagree with my method but this is really the only way to protect yourself.

Also I like the other DVC member to give their membership number directly to MS during the 3 way call. Points don't show up on member website so it's important for the member who received the points to have the confirmation number so they can double check that the points are actually in their account. The points are available immediately once transferred.
