This weekend was my weekend. Next weekend, starting Friday, starts our summer visitation which will be a full week. ( He gets her 5 weeks over the summer, basically every other week) We had discussed this weekend because he had asked earlier in the week if he could have her because he was opening his pool. I said no, that I would like to have her this weekend since we were starting the week on/off and he would have her next weekend. I usually do not have an issue with switching days or him getting her on off days, because as much as I cannot stand the man, he's her father. We get along well in front of her and when we do argue, she really has no idea.
So today at her game, she comes running up to me and tells me she's going swimming in Daddy's pool and goes on about all the super fun stuff he bought for it and how much fun.......the rest was drowned out by the buzzing in my ears. I was so mad I really couldn't see straight. I had planned to do some stuff with her which included picking strawberries ( can't do it tomorrow ) then going to dinner and the movies. No, I don't want to do that tomorrow either. He knew my plans, but does stuff like this constantly, always putting me in the position of the bad guy.
Last April he went to Mexico w/his girlfriend and 3 of her kids. Didn't even ask if DD could/wanted to go, but the night before told her he asked me and I said No. What?? I told her he didn't ask but if he had I would have said No anyway because g-friend has a serious drinking problem, and all 5 of them talked about how drunk they were going to get all week. He is one of the most manipulative people I've ever met, and will turn a story around in the blink of an eye, and deny the truth so adamantly you begin to question yourself. He constantly cancels visits with her, and always has a HUGE story as to why. Yea, he's a real prize.
I just got off the phone with him because I have no idea what time she's coming home, and he had serious attitude because I said I was going to go grocery shopping and told me he "had stuff to do tonight" so she needs to come home soon. Like he was doing me this huge favor. What??? Well let me go sit on the porch and await your arrival.
