YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! I hate those things! They are the creepiest, nastiest things, and they are lightning quick!! It's about the only insect in the world that will make me scream or lose sleep if it's in the house. I get them in my garage and every once in awhile, if we bring a box from the garage into the house, no close inspection in the world seems to reveal the fact that there's one hiding in the box and sooner or later I will find it racing across my kitchen floor.


They look like some sorta mutant running eyelash or dustballs with legs when in motion!! Ewwww, ewww, ewww, they are just SO GROSS!!!!!!!! EEEK!!!!!

<font color=navy>The centipede is yucko.... but this bug gave me the heeby jeebies when it came into our house & was crawling on the floor. (Luckily, I don't live in that house anymore.... ugh ugh ugh)

<font color=navy>That's a potato bug (I forget the real name), and they're about 3 inches long. The house we used to live in didn't have a rubber thingy at the bottom of the back door, so we had one come in twice, and I was barefoot, walking in our kitchen when I saw it on the floor.... ugh ugh ugh -- and they're too big to squish (another ugh), so I got the broom and opened the door, and swept it outside - hard.

Imagine working in the garden turning the dirt with a little hand shovel & having this come up... ugh ugh ugh....

You know, I vaccuum spiders up, and then duct tape the hose until DH gets home to change the bag (So they can't crawl back out) That could have worked too Nik.

I told Nik to vacuum it up. She didn't want to leave the room to get the vacuum cleaner and lose site of the bug.

Yep! Couldn't vacuum it cause I'd have had to run downstairs to get the vacuum .... AND God forbid if I'd come back up and couldn't find the thing. There would have been NO sleeping for sure!

LOL John came home mid-nervous breakdown and poured me a glass of wine. Sure enough an hour later I was fast asleep! God bless the man!!!!!!

MJ ......I don't think I could take those bugs! I'd freak big time. Why am I such a wuss with these things?! Blood, guts, snakes, worms ......NO PROBLEM. Bugs........forget it! And I want to move to Florida...........

OMG, I hate those things Vicky. If I have a phobia, that is it. Those thingies scare me to death and I scream bloody murder if I see one of those, just like I did when I saw the picture. SOS!
