EWP & Fireworks from Poly

Where are the best places to view the Electrical Water Pageant and the Magic Kingdom Fireworks from the Polynesian Resort? I don't know where our room will be located, so I'm not sure if we'll be able to see anything from a balcony or not. Where else can we go on the grounds to get the best view? Thanks!

Just head for the beaches. I've never watched from the Westernmost beach by Fiji and Aotearea but I would bet both are great from that beach too. We've watched many times from the other two beaches and both are equally great.

I don't know if it's been fixed but for a while the soundtrack for Wishes wasn't being played loudly at all from most of the speakers but you could hear better by the Volcano pool. I don't like watching from there as well because of the surrounding lights so it's a tradeoff. You could see people stooping down by the speakers to hear.

We just got back last Sat. from the Poly. Tukelau building and we watch both from the third floor stair platform. You could here none of the wishe's music but the EWP was loud enough that if we forgot it, we would hear it very clearly from our room.

Go to the pool early and grab a beach chair! It's one of the best things about the Polynesian!

We watched the EWP right from the end of the dock just us 3 and one other couple a great view and benches too!

Just watched Wishes from the Poly beach on Monday night after a wonderful dinner at O'Hana's. DH and I snuggled up inside of one of the cabanas on a couple of lounges - great view, but no soundtrack playing - and we were close enough to the pool that we would have heard it (unless it was playing so softly that you had to put your ear to the speaker as BCV23 said). I was planning on watching EWP at 9 PM, but it was just ending as we got to the beach around 7:45 !
