Has anyone used expedia.com for vacation packages to orlando? The price they have quoted for us includes airfare,hotel and rental car. We are staying at the sheraton vistana resort in september.

No, but I would try pricing it out separately first, just to make sure if it was a good deal.

I have purchased other things from expedia with no problems, but you sometimes get airfare a little cheaper ($5) by purchasing it directly from the airlines website.

I used them in May of 2002 and I think I got a great deal. It was actually cheaper for us to go to WDW than Myrtle Beach which was our first vacation choice. I always book my vacations through expedia, I have check rates on other sites and found expedia to be cheaper or the same. I have never had any problems with them.

I just booked airline tickets with Expedia (first time).....

How is their customer service if you have questions???

I normally would go through the airlines, but Expedia had a better rate than I could find elsewhere during christmas week.

I booked my air and hotel (POR) through Expedia for 4/21-4/25. They gave an option after I chose which flights and hotel I wanted to add the UPH. It was not required. I waited and rented my car through Hotwire, which was a better deal. I had to call Expedia's customer service once when I got a cryptic message about a flight change. It turned out that Song had just changed the flight number. The phone rep was very helpful and pleasant. I've used Expedia for my last four non-Disney trips and they have always been great.

I booked a package for air and hotel through Expedia. Never had any problems.

I priced it if I were to buy the components seperately, and it worked out to about the same, so I just went the convenience of a package.

I have also booked air alone on Expedia, and didn't have a problem. Our flight times changed, but we just called the airline direct and they fixed it for us without a problem.

Can can get a resort room through Expedia but everytime I have checked the price it was always rack rate. We did book through them Sept 2002--YC room and UPH. We got a good deal on the room--with the package the room was 40-45% off rack rates. But the hoppers were pretty close to what Disney charges. We also book our Royal Pacific room through Expedia for the same trip. Got a good discount on it.

We used expedia.com to book plane/nondisney hotel/car rental May 2003 and I couldn't beat the price anywhere else! I spent a lot of time researching prices and expedia beat all other options! Good luck!!

We have never used them for vacation packages, but have done many flights and hotels with them. Never a problem. You should just research and see where you can get the best price. If it turns out to be expedia, you'll be fine.
