Never liked Bugs anyway, so I guess I don't care as much. I do have a hard time believing WB would do this to an "American Icon" though.

I went to the official WB website and gave them a piece of my mind.

I am huge cartoon fan addict and have loved Bugs Bunny for as long as I can remember. It just disgusts me that they want to tinker with a formula that's worked for 50 plus years just to suit the ever-changing tastes of today's anime-watching gothling wannabes.

DH is a HUGE Bugs Bunny fan and at first he was appalled and then when he found out his name would be "Buzz" Bunny, he was relieved. To him it is NOT the same character.

ok - don't google "buzz bunny"...trust me! heheheh

times have changed...when I was kid...I loved Bugs...but he's not edgy enough for today's kids. I understand the changing of times...but I think they should have classic Bugs over here...and Buzz way the heck over there.

The chick doing the news today on my local radio station spoke on this story, saying "Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, and the blah blah blah"....whoa - did she say DONALD DUCK?!?!?! hehehe...I assumed she meant Daffy.

The movie "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" did really badly at the box office even though it was pretty good. I imagine that Warner Brothers is trying to figure out how to revive interest in these characters. It's too bad because the Looney Tunes are really cool but I can't blame WB.
