Day 1.
Well the day had finally arrived!
We were up at 5am and I was busy checking that we had everything we could possibly need (and with a 5 month old that was A LOT!!!) We didnt wake evie till the minute we had to leave as I wanted to give her her first feed of the day at the airport, to save time. Simons mum and dad arrived at 6.30 and we were away quickly. Evie grumbled abit on the way, wanting her milk, but she was easily entertained by my Mickey ears flashing on my head! LOL!
We arrived at Doncaster to be greeted by a huge queue, which Simon got in whilst I fed Evie. We finally got through it and were security checked in about an hour. Here we are waiting to get on.
We had a breakfast whilst we waited and were first on the plane!
I was really worried about evies ears, but she slept on the way up and down, so wasnt bothered at all (phew!!). The journey was uneventful, and evie was good as gold.
We finally arrived, this time we were last off, as we waited for everyone else before we struggled off with bags and baby! Therefore we were at the back of the customs queue and got through in about an hour, not bad! Off to Alamo to get the car. Simon always upgrades, as he loves driving in the USA and was very pleased when he got a Chrysler 300. He was pleased as punch (though it meant nothing to me!!!
) It was straight down the 417 to the 192 where we met mum and dad and over to Regal palms. The villa was lovely, with everything we needed.
Off we went to the supermarket to get supplies and off to bed VERY tired.
