The whole Tampa Bay area is like a sea of red and black! I have never seen anything like it - probably because this is the first time we had a winning team in any sport. LOL

So do you have any friendly bets on the game? We had a pool at work and everyone says I have great #'s (I have 0 & 7 - 7 for the Bucs). I dont know much about it but I hope I get some money!!

Nope, no friendly bets here.....all of the people I know are rooting for the Bucs. The other day I asked Jessa (my daughter) who she was rooting for in the Super Bowl and she said "the same team as you, mommy....who's that?" LOL

Christine, our minister is a huge Bucs fan....he and his wife are the people we have our season tickets with. We attend a very contemporary, casual dress, service. So even during the regular season, it's not unusual to see folks wearing their Bucs jerseys to church, and then going on from there to the game.

I don't have any bets on this game....I don't know that I could find anyone I know to take the Raiders! LOL!

I did win in last week's game against Philly. Oldkicker and I bet a drink of choice at Kimono. And I didn't even need the points! Can't wait for a chance for you to pay up, Bernie!

John asked me who I was pulling for (I don't do sports very often). I said are you crazy!! For the first time I might actually watch since Tampa is playing!! Just out of curiosity who is SUPPOSED to win? What are the odds?

Bet - sounds like a great church. My grandmother would have a holy fit if we dressed like that for church. LOL. But then again my grandmother does not like much of anything. Have to show team pride.

Beauty - I think the Bucs are 3 point underdogs (if I heard correctly)

Beth, the Raiders are 3 1/2 point favorites. (can a team score 1/2 a point? LOL!)

But that's okay, the Bucs were big underdogs last week against Philly! In fact, the espn.com "experts (all 8 of them!) unanimously picked the Eagles to win!

Good! The underdogs always have more reason to want to win. Just to prove how good they are! This is the first Super Bowl I've ever looked forward to watching!

Last week there was nothing but green everywhere you looked around here. I thought everyone was celebrating St. Patricks day early but I knew nothing about it. Turns out it had something to do with the Eagles. Tells you what I know about football.

Bet, my church service was the same way this morning! LOL

The entire choir and all the Pastoral staff were wearing Bucs shirts, jerseys, hats, ect. There were Bucs balloons in the sanctuary, GO BUCS signs in the parking lot, he even titled his sermon "What the Bucs need to win the Superbowl". LOL Of course there was a spiritual message behind it as well but it was a lot of fun. They are having a Superbowl party tonight in the fellowship hall and are going to broadcast the game up on the big screen.
