How do you know you're going to have to choose? Can you see the schedule already?

Hm. I don't remember Norway. I would pick Germany if I had to chose between those 3 but that's only because we are of German decent. Can you chose that way? Personally my kids' favorite was the Monkey King in China!!

My kids really enjoyed the German storyteller. Like a pp, DH is of German descent and we are also Lutheran so my kids were really excited to know some of what she was talking about!

Haven't read through all of the posts yet. So, I apologize if this has already been asked in some form. But, are the storytellers engaging enough for a 2 1/2 year old and an antsy 6 year old to sit still through? About how long are their stories?

The story tellers are in an open air forum. People stand to watch and come and go as they please. May not be interesting enough to keep their attention for the entire time. Some we have just caught as the tail end and gotten pictures. Give it a try and see.

Thanks for the info! In your experience, are there any that are more interesting than others for this age group? I read the post about the family who is Lutheran liking the German one because it was familiar. We are Lutheran also. So, that might be a good option. Any others?

I feel left out, my family and I are going 12\27 - 1\5. All the parties and the CP will be over with. I m just worried about the crowds.

Actually not everything will be over ... we will be there from 12/28 - 1/3 and have the CP booked for 12/29 or 30 (my daughter has been doing the planning. We are also worried about the crowds but are trying to keep an open mind and a "whatever" attitude. It will be our first Christmas vacation trip to WDW but have been many times at other times of the year ... usually summer ... we are looking forward to not having to sweat our way through the crowds! :)

Has anyone done the Yuletide Fantasy tour?

We did it in 2009 and really enjoyed it. It is something you can only do during the holiday season. If I remember correctly, you don't need to purchase park tickets that day, even though you walk "back stage".

It is one of those tours that depends on the courtesy of others in the group...there are times you wander on your own and meet at a specific time. We had two people in our group who seemed to think their shopping and coffee were more important than others waiting...once I can understand, but this happened with them several times.

How annoying!

We've done the Keys to the Kingdom tour and loved it, so thought it would be nice to try another tour, and especially since this one is only offered seasonally it seems a good one to do...

When do they actually decorate everything? We're going November 11. Will the resort trees be up? The gingerbread houses? The park trees??? :confused3

I was there 11/11/11 and the DHS tree was up for sure. The tree at BWI didn't go up til after I got home around 11/16.

I have reservations for the Candlelight Processional on December 4th. Does anyone know when they will finalize the list of narrators? We have never done CP before and I am just anxious to see who our narrator will be.
