Has anyone had success scoring one of those pizzas as their entree with this voucher?

I would like to know this too! Anyone?

Sorry, but someone gave you the wrong information. The expiration date for the Q&Cs is 5/31/2005, not 1 year from the time you purchase them.

Angel's momma, Thanks for the info- that's even better than I thought!

I joined hotwire savings club but cannot find where to get the Q & C Meal vouchers. Where do I go to get these. I called Hotwire and the said I can't get them on their site that I need to join another site but they didn't now how I could do that? HELP

I'm surprised that Hotwire doesn't sell these anymore, and a little confused. I bought some of these about a month ago and they were listed on the page with the WDW hopper passes. I'm surprised to hear they took them off, as I had considered rejoining to buy some extra vouchers. Does anyone have the lowdown on this?

I just checked ... and they are still for sale. Did you join "hotwire savings club" not just register at the hotwire site?

Once you enter your membership number click on 'theme parks' .... then scroll down the left to 'disney meals' ... and there they are.

hope that helps,.

Thank you,
I see them now, must of been not looking good enough before.
Thank you very much!

Definitely still selling meal vouchers.

Put in my order Friday night and they arrived today (Thursday).
Today, I also put in an order for park tickets for MIL. They had a good price on those too.

So far I am a very satisfied customer. :earsgirl:

I used the vouchers on my recent trip and thought I would post what I bought and the savings. Some restaurants didn't give me a receipt, so I don't know exactly how much was saved, but I'll estimate.

Everything Pop (Pop Century food court):
1)Soda, Green beans, Veg. Lo Mein, Tie Die Cheesecake = $14.87 ($3.37 saved with Q&C)
**But without the voucher I wouldn't have purchased the green beans for $1.89**
2)Soda, Cheese Fries, Soy Burger, Twinkie Tiramisu = $12.85 ($1.35 Saved with Q&C)
3)Soda (2), Cheese Platter (2), Soy Burger (2), Tie Die Cheesecake, Twinkie Tiramisu = $28.48 (Used 2 vouchers, total saved= $5.48 with Q&C)

EPCOT-
Alfredos (Italy):
Minestrone soup, Fettuccini Alfredo, Cream Puffs, Soda, Gratutity = $36.07 ($5.07 saved w/ VKL)

Tangierine Cafe(Morocco):
Vegetable Platter, Side Olives, Chocolate Cake, Lg. Soda = $17.15 ($5.65 saved w/ Q&C)

Those are the ones with receipts. I'll try to figure out savings for France, Rose & Crown, and Rainforest Cafe and post those soon.

OK - Here's the rest of the voucher info...

EPCOT:
Chefs de France
1)Salad Nicoise, Tomato & Goat Cheese Tart, Iced Tea, Dessert Sampler, Gratutity = $46.48 ($15.48 saved w/ VKL)
2) Gratin de Macaroni, Tomato & Goat Cheese Tart, Soda, Dessert Sampler, Gratutity = $45.50 ($14.50 saved w/ VKL)

Rose and Crown (UK)
Mushroom Medley, Fish & Chips, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Soda, Gratutity = $32.91 ($1.91 saved with VKL)

Animal Kingdom:
Rainforest Cafe
Bruschetta, Parmesan Crusted Red Snapper (came with slaw and black beans), Bananas Foster, Smoothie, Gratutity = $51.39 ($20.39 saved with VKL)

Magic Kingdom:
Cosmic Rays (Tomorrowland)
Vegetarian Burger with Fries, Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich, Lg. Soda = $12.11 ($.61 saved with Q&C)

**Note about Chefs de France: On my 1st visit I tried to order a $3 cappuccino and the wait person told me it was not available with the voucher. Later he offered us the sampler platter dessert, which really surprised me. On my 2nd visit, I decided to order a soda. The waiter said, "OK. I can bring your drink and your refill at the same time." That way both of us would have soda to drink while sharing a voucher. I thought that was very nice of him!**

**Note about Alfredo di Roma: We tried to order the sampler platter as our dessert, but our server said the voucher did not cover that dessert. I was there again last week and had no problem ordering it with the voucher. I guess it's dependent on your server.**

One more note about vouchers - We usually had WAY too much food because DH didn't want to share and only use 1 voucher. We did successfully share at Rainforest, but every other meal was a struggle. Just a heads up to wives who are planning on sharing with their hubby. I'm not sure if it was a pride thing (kind of like not wanting to use coupons at the store) or something else. When I went with my mother a week later we always shared and felt full after each meal.

Venus1, Were the servers OK with you and your mom splitting meals? That is what I like to do with my daughters, but wonder what the reaction is if you use a voucher?

We didn't encounter any problems sharing. The waiters brought extra plates so that we could divide up the food. (Actually the server at Alfredo's divided the food for us when he brought it to the table.) As I mentioned already, the server at France even brought us a drink "refill" in a separate glass so we could both have a soda despite the fact the voucher only covered one beverage. They worked so well that we intend to purchase them for our next mother/daughter getaway. I haven't decided if I'm going to buy them for my next trip with DH, however, since he didn't like the concept of sharing!

Your experience at Chef De France sounds great. I've been contemplating using vouchers there myself but think DBF might be leary of the sharing thing. I guess I really just need to worry about enjoying my food and not whether or not I finish it.

Connections has changed their shipping policy. Formely all shipping was free. I purchased some meal vouchers today, and it gave me these options 7-10 days standard (free). 3-4 days express ($7.95). 1-2 days rush ($15.95).

So be aware, there are some shipping choices now, and not all of them are free.

Just wanted to post this info in case anyone was wondering about expired vouchers. I had planned a trip to WDW in Dec '03 that had to be cancelled for medical reasons. Prior to that trip I bought a bunch of these things to use while there in Dec. I have resceduled the trip for June 7-18, '04- which is a week after they expire.

I called guest services a couple of times, and as with all things Disney, couldn't get a straight answer. One of the CM's thought there was a 30 day grace period and they would be fine, another thought this was not the case. Still another said to present them at the restaurant and see what they say...

I have a question for people that have used both the ones that expire next week and have seen the new ones. Is there a physical difference in the vouchers? Are they the same color, etc? Maybe I will just try to sneak them through and if I get called on it I will schmooze my way through. Thanks for any thoughts you may have.

Blessings,
mic_key_mouse

They are different colors. I have one I don't think we will be able to use before it expires, so if anyone knows anything about a grace period please post!!

Hello!

I'll be staying at Saratoga Springs in October & I was wondering if the Q&C vouchers will be good at there food court (Artists Palette).

Since this is a new resort, I don't believe it's listed on the voucher, but will they still honor it.

Thanks for the help!
;) :D ,

CVan someone post a link to a site that sells these? And does anyone have experience with these at Cosmic ray's, Backlot Express, Pecos Bill's,Electric Umbrella, etc? I already looked at the menus on allearsnet.com, but want to know what the servers usually allow at these places?

To mic_key_mouse: I think you'll have a hard time slipping the old vouchers through. They are a different color than the new ones.

For everyone else. We just got back and the vouchers were better than I had hoped for. We ate the q & c vouchers and they always saved me at least $4 to $5 per ticket. The best value was at Gasparella Grill and Beaches and Cream, but Tusker House was great too. My DH and I split our meals with vouchers most of the time and there was more than enough food. We ate at the hamburger stand outside of the Tower of Terror one night, and they didn't know how to key in the extra bun to split a double cheeseburger into 2 cheeseburgers at first, but figured it out when I insisted it could be done.

Our family agrees that the Rainforest Cafe was the most unforgettable. We used the vouchers at 5:00 (with no problems). Everyone ate like kings and queens. Steak and lobster, whole lobster with a side of shrimp scampi, everything. It was amazing. My DD asked what the bill would have been. For 5 adults, it would have been $370 not including tax and tip. Not a bad return for $150 in vouchers. We could have split the vouchers, but were more interested in the fun of unlimited choices for one night. It was a great memory for all, and that's what vacations are all about for our family.

If you are thinking about vouchers, I'd go for it. I know I will again.

Thanks to everyone that posted and helped to convice me. I'm a believer.
