Can the Q&C vouchers be used for more than one meal (for more than 1 person at the same time, and restaurant), or do you need one voucher per person/per meal ordered?

Each voucher entitles you to one entrée, one sidedish (if not included with the entrée), one non-alcoholic beverage and one dessert. How you choose to divide up the food is up to you. Two people may certainly share the food acquired with the voucher.

The voucher can only be used at a single restaurant and must be signed and surrendered when it is redeemed for a meal. You cannot use it to get an entrée at one restaurant and dessert at another.

I just received my vouchers in the mail. They all expire 5/31/05 except the breakfast vouchers expire 5/31/04!!! Our trip is in June! How could this happen? What should I do?

You can return the breakfast vouchers to Connections or HSC (whichever one you purchased from) for either a credit or an exchange for vouchers with a later expiration date. Both companies will allow you 90 days from date of purchase to make a return.

I'm just very confused by how these save you money after looking at the prices on the menu site provided in the beginning of this thread. Are the Q & C's even worth it anywhere other than Beaches?

Don't forget to factor in the tax on food items (6.5%). The prices in the menus don't reflect tax or tip. At some places, you will do little more than break even and that would be if you order the most expensive menu items. So, the vouchers are not always a savings.

They saved us money, but this is how...we are a family of four (two boys 8 and 9). We used two vouchers a day. We gave ourselves the option of ordering an extra side (or more) if needed, but we never needed to. We never wasted any food and we were never 'stuffed'....which we considered a good thing. It really was a perfect amount of food and we would have surely ordered more without the vouchers. We felt satisfied after each meal and would definately do it again. By the way...our bill was never less than what we paid for the vouchers...and often much more. Beaches is the best deal, but we also got excellent deals at Tusker House (AK), Pecos Bill's (MK) and the Cantina in Mexico (Epcot).

Hope this helps. It would not have been a huge savings if we had used four vouchers...and we would have eaten and wasted more.

Our greatest savings was at Beaches and Cream and the PepperMarket. (I Liked the PepperMarket over Beaches and Cream and used vouchers there for 2 dinners.)
When using them at the Counter services in the park you save a few cents but it is nice to have meals prepaid before we went.

I'll probably get at least 4 more. Even if I don't save a whole lot of $$, I think I'm liking the whole prepaid thing :)

Don't know if anyone was looking for this info but, I just called Hotwire to ask when the current vouchers expire because I'm considering joining. The agent checked with her supervisor and said that the current ones expire 5/05. :D

I ordered my vouchers from Simple Escapes today and was told that the exp. date was 5/05 on the vouchers.

Castillo Mom,

What number did you call at Hotwire. I have been holding out on buying any until I saw what the expiration dates were going to be. We are going end of June/beginning of July.

Thanks,

Pam

I wasn't sure if I should post a separate thread on this but here goes. I know some restaurants will give you a side in addition to an entree that already includes one, but there doesn't seem to be any absolute consistency, depends on management or the CM. Anyway, does anyone know whether you get a side at Beaches and Cream if you order, say, a cheeseburger that already includes fries? If so, I could just split a meal with my youngest son, he can have the included dessert, and then I can order my own dessert. He's not one to share ice cream!;)

I just thought I'd post how fast Hotwire sent my vouchers. I ordered online on the 27th and they arrived today in the mail. I am impressed. I'll probably still cancell before my month is up, because I'm not likely to use the membership for anything else.

I ordered my vouchers from Hotwire on the 28th of March and they arrived today, April 1st. They are all May 31, 2005 expiration dates. I ordered breakfast, q&c and VKL vouchers. They all had the same expiration date. Now I just have to remember to use this years vouchers before we work into the new ones!

I am ready to go!
Debbie

I would just like to say Thank You to everyone who has posted here. The information has been great and I am placing my order next week. I love the fact that I can prepay some of our meals. You guys have all been great about answering our questions and telling us how they worked for you. This is what the DIS boards are all about for me. I love this thread, the Cindy's advice and encouragement thread, and the Pop Century FAQ and thread.
:grouphug:
Thank You Thank You Thank You

I'd like to 2nd that! I've learned so much from these boards, especially this particular thread. I just purchased my first set of Q&C vouchers. I'll probably get a few more of those as well as the ones for breakfast. Thanks to all of you WDW vets for the great info!:D

When we were there...our fries (or onion rings...which are AWESOME) did count as our side.
