Note that with Tron opening there is a chance they will drop the VQ for Guardians and go to a regular standby line. They haven’t announced that but they have never had 2 VQ rides at WDW.
They've had 2 VQ rides in CA. WDW had 2 VQ; GotG and Santa in DS.Note that with Tron opening there is a chance they will drop the VQ for Guardians and go to a regular standby line. They haven’t announced that but they have never had 2 VQ rides at WDW.
They’ve done other VQs for non-rides like the Santa meet, AP magnet pickup, etc but never had 2 rides on it at a time at WDW. I know Disneyland has had 2 but WDW hasn’t (yet.)They've had 2 VQ rides in CA. WDW had 2 VQ; GotG and Santa in DS.
In other words we don't know what Disney will do.
An ILL$ can be used anytime that day from the time your return time arrives until park close. No need to choose a time 2:00 or later (This could change but is current practice for purchased ILL$ snd VQ.)With a hopper, you can buy a ILL for Guardians even if Epcot isn't your first park - your timeslot will have to be after 2pm (you pick your time). Chances of a virtual queue spot are slim, though on lower crowd days the queue is sometimes still open at 2pm when hopping begins (you'd have to be scanning in right at 2pm and it's a risk).
You're correct - you can buy 2 ILL a day.
Yes.If it was a ride with stand by can we still purchase ILL with hopper
Will you be staying g at a Disney resort that night? If so, you can purchase an ILL$ at 7AM regardless of where you are. If you are staying offsite you would need to wait until park opening to purchase.one more thought If we got a third day ticket but no hopper and we could not go to Epcot to about 11:00 but had a park reservation must we still be on-site to get a ILL? We would still be driving to wdw in the am.
I don't understand your point. We know DME can handle multiple VQ. We know Disney had 2 VQ rides in CA.They’ve done other VQs for non-rides like the Santa meet, AP magnet pickup, etc but never had 2 rides on it at a time at WDW. I know Disneyland has had 2 but WDW hasn’t (yet.)
You’re correct that WDW has not had a VQ for 2 rides but it’s quite possible they can. The technology is in place. We just need to wait and see what they do.They’ve done other VQs for non-rides like the Santa meet, AP magnet pickup, etc but never had 2 rides on it at a time at WDW. We are checking in to pop June 2 and I’m thinking of adding a ticket that day for Epcot. We could get to park I think around lunch time. I guess I can try to purchase as soon as park opens in car. I think we will have about a 3 hours drive that am. I would be able to do this at 9 am right for the ILL. This is assuming there is no virtual que.An ILL$ can be used anytime that day from the time your return time arrives until park close. They'll probably sell more LL when VQ goes away and alter the ratio. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes an hour to get from the building entrance to the preshow in standby once that happens. Compared to Guardians VQ most standby queues move at a crawl.I don't understand your point. We know DME can handle multiple VQ. We know Disney had 2 VQ rides in CA.
We don't know what Disney is planning when Tron opens.
Based on history Guardians should already be using standby. Guardians will accommodate about 45 minutes of VQ guests. Obviously depending on how many $LL Disney can sell.
The question is how long an outside queue Disney wants.
I know you can for VQ but not sure about ILL since you can choose your time.I thought I saw on here that if you have a paid ILL for GotG, you can return anytime after the start of your window …
Is this true? Does anyone know for sure?
TIA
Oh! I thought it was the other way around!I know you can for VQ but not sure about ILL since you can choose your time.

You may return anytime after your time has arrived for both VQ and ILL$.Oh! I thought it was the other way around!

Based on the popularity of GotG, keeping a VQ there too would be great!!
