We bought Bex a collectable dolls house and basement for Christmas we chose to have the flat pack version to do it all ourselves from scratch (they come flat packed decorated and built too) We have spent all afternoon priming and undercoating miniature windows and doors and i have to say i prefer to paint full size ones they are a lot less fiddly :lmao:

My dd3 got one for christmas from my parents - ahem, sorry from Santa;) , but luckily my dad built it, painted and carpeted it for her. No fiddly work for me!

What age is your dd? Esme hasn't shown much interest in hers yet, but it is a good one so will last years hopefully.

I'll show you mine if you show me yours - dolls house that is of course :rotfl:

Oh I love things like that, wish I still had little ones to buy for:goodvibes

This is what it will look like when it is finised

DD is 18. Its a collectors house rather than a childs dolls house. She had a dolls house when she was younger and has often said she would like to do it up with lights etc. so now she can but this one is much bigger. Not sure where its going to go when it is finished i really didn't think it through :lmao:
