Everyone present to check in ??

I apologize if this has been asked before, but....

Does everyone in the room have to be present to check in? E.g. We are doing a split stay - 1st night at POR, next night at Poly. Can the rest of the fam head to MK, while I go to the Poly to check in and activate our room keys and dining plan? Or does my DH have to be there to show ID too?

The only time I have a heard it can be an issue is if you are using a free dining promotion. In that case, they might ask everyone on the room reservation to be present to make sure you aren't adding extra phantom guests to get more dining credits. But that's not a hard and fast rule. Otherwise, there's no issue with sending your family ahead to the MK.
