Everyone Loves Raymond

ITA!!! :thumbsup2 I love this show!!!

The PMS episode is one of my favorites.

Debra: If I have PMS, and I'm not saying I do, is that how you help me? By tape recording me? Telling me I have PMS? That doesn't help me Ray, THAT DOESN'T HELP ME!!!
Ray: Well WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?! SHOW ME WHAT TO DO! JUST DRAW IT OUT!
Debra: Have you ever thought about giving me a hug?
Ray: ....A HUG?!
Debra: Yeah, a hug. Did you ever think about huggin' me, ya jerk?
Ray: Well it's pretty hard to hug someone who's trying to kill you!
Debra: Well it never even occured to you, you've never even tried it before!
Ray: Well LOOK, THIS is not huggable! This is not Debra! This is the woman who shows up once a month to rip into me like a monkey on a cupcake!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That episode was the best ELR show ever! I'll admit...I couldn't breathe and almost peed my pants laughing. :happytv:

The show was hit or miss for me. When it was funny, it was really funny and when it wasn't, I wanted my admission back! :goodvibes Of course I might appreciate it more since I'm getting my own Marie for a MIL in a week!

I think my favorite was the one where Marie lied about how often she and Frank 'did the deed'- "Once a year... on average" because she was embarrassed to tell Debra they were actually doing it 3-4 times a week. And how Robert moving back home was really cramping their style. :rotfl: :rotfl:

OH!! Since it's almost Thanksgiving, how about Debra dropping the turkey on the floor and then flingin' it in the oven!! Classic!!! :lmao:

This episode is my all time favorite. I don't think I have ever laughed as hard as I laughed when she threw that turkey in the oven after dropping it on the floor.

A close second is when Ray sets the kitchen on fire and tries to put it out with the short hose.

Does anyone else find themselves saying

"Just so you know....." to your husband all the time.

I even say it to my kids. I just love that line, it pretty much sums it up when your husband is being a butthead.

One of the few situation comedies that DH and I both really liked. Yes it was comedy but there were alot of things normal family people could relate to. As much as I laughed at Marie & Frank it makes you realize you might not have it so bad with your inlaws.

This was one of my favorite shows, even now watching reruns I still laugh out loud. It use be on at 11:00 but it isn't anymore.

I did just see the one where she dropped the turkey!

Thinking of these episodes makes me chuckle.

What about the time one of the twins couldn't play basketball very well. Ray was yelling so much encouragement from the stands that he got all dizzy and looked like he was gonna pass out. :rotfl:

Or, when one of the twins wouldn't go to school so he stayed home with Ray. :rotfl:

I like the one where Ray went on a cruise with his mom. :rotfl:

OMG people, these were so funny! :rotfl:

Plus, Robert touching his chin.... :rotfl:

I never watched it when it was regularly on. I have discovered the late night reruns though, and I think it is hilarious!

One of my favorites was when Frank faked a back injury so he wouldn't have to go on a cruise with Marie, and Ray went in his place.

I think Marie is a brilliant actress. She is consistently funny.

My favorite line of all time - When Deborah caught Ray in a lie:

Ray - I know what you're thinking!

Deborah - Then why aren't you protecting yourself?!

Loved that show....

Fave episodes:

When Ray goes to the drug store to purchase some items for Deb's "problem", and comes home and gives the bag to her...."It doesn't say b****y on here"

Fruit of the Month club......need I say more?

When Ray takes the wrong twin to the dr.

Robert's FBI interview and his 'lucky suit'

I could go on and on, there are just so many :rotfl: :rotfl:

"She ate a FLLLLYYYYYYY!!!!!" :lmao: :rotfl2: The very FIRST ELR I saw was the "turkey dropped on the floor" one, and I watched it ever since! :rotfl2:

I thought it was hilarious when Rays parents drove their car through the living room! and my favorite quote of many is when they are all eating chinese food or something and Marie complains the breadsticks are old and dried up Frank- you are what you eat Marie- hand your father his ordre of miserable ba***rd. :rotfl: My Dh laughs outloud at the show maybe he'll get a couple of seasons on DVD for Christmas!

Fruit of the month club!! :lmao: That was a good one! :lmao:

Ray's gift of a toaster was pretty funny, too!

Also, - the one about the family portrait at Christmas!! A classic!

My favorite was the one that Robert went "ethnic" :rotfl2:

Who said their MIL is Marie? It can't be, because MY MIL is Marie. She mentored DD#1 making a nice meal for living skills class and actually said "See Kelly? A good meal takes TIME to prepare." FIL is like Frank too but in a good, funny way.
I like the Tofu Turkey episode, and the one where Ray drops the daughter at a friend's house and the mom pats his butt and then he debates what it meant with Robert and their friend.
I never liked Sex and the City though.

When he kept calling Ray.."ma brotha".......... :rotfl: :rotfl:

What about when the bull gored Robert? That was another good one!

I love this show, it is actually one of the only TV shows that my DH and I agree on and both laugh our rears off watching it. I love Frank...he cracks me up.

A week or so ago the episode was on where Debra decided she wanted to have Thanksgiving dinner instead of Marie. Instead of turkey she was going to make a "Nice striped bass". My husband has been going around all week quoting Raymond's "Mmm mmmm FIIIISH!" LOL

I think this show is so funny because it so closely parallels most marriages.

I do realize they exaggerate for laughs but I sure hope most marriages don't include that much bickering and belittling! Sometimes I liked the show and sometimes that bickering and insulting really got to me.
