Ok, you know when you go to the disneyworld.com website and you go to the "take a peek at the 100 years of magic celebration" go there. When the little window pops up, click on "why we're celebrating". Then on the bottom of that window, click the "100 years of magic time machine". Now that you traveled in time, go to the year "2000", now CLICK on the "Walt Disney worlds 30th anniversary tab". now heres where this gets me, here it shows you a property map of the wdw resort. Look at the animal kindom picture, in the NE section of the park, there is a figure, its greyish black. Looks like a face or a skull to me. After I noticed that, I ran to my room and took out the property map in one of the guide booklets from our feb 2001 trip and it wasnt there (the face/skull thing). What do you guys thinK?

I'm just guessing but that could that be connected to the Asia part of AK. Then again I could be wrong. I'm not sure if Beastly Kingdom is that much confirmed to have the artists draw it into a WDW overview map. I repeat this is just a blind guess on my part.

I think that that is just a shadow from the Tree of Life. See how Spaceship Earth also has a shadow falling to the north east of the picture as well. :(

But in my guide book from feb 2001, the tree has a shadow, but not in that shape or that broad.....

On a related line of reasoning, has anyone noticed that the "virtual pin" for the Animal Kingdom has a figure in it that looks very much like a dragon:rolleyes:
Close examination reveals 4 figures that light up in sequence,

1. elephant (Asia?)
2. Dragon (Beastly Kingdom?)
3. Dinosaur ( Dinoland, etc?)
4. Bird? (The rest of the park?)

Anyone else notice this, or am I just imagining things:D

Wishful thinking ????

you aren't imagining things, I think/hope that the new area for animal kingdom that was announced is beastly kingdom (or I would like it to be called "Lost Animal Kingdom") :)
