Everyday Life Swap -Particulars Up Front

I will be posting the sign ups with group selections next week. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on what will be required for most groups. This way you can decide ahead of time how many groups you are willing to commit to doing. I have used up most of the alphabet organizing the different groups. There are four (4) swappers to most groups. You will be making a total of twelve (12) elements for each of those groups. Because the groups are small, I am very willing to do multiples of the groups that turn out to be most popular.

The days of the week group will have 7 swappers AND you will be making the kits. So for this group you will be making 21 elements.

Here are the kit requirements:

They will include
A-(2) Tags AND
B-(1) Topper or (1) Signage or (2) Borders (your choice) AND
C-(2) Journal Boxes or Photo Mats [or one of each] (again your choice).

For a total of 3 elements. See list at sign ups for more details on element requirements.

There will be other groups that will be two (2) elements only. BUT these will have six (6) swappers. This will also be a total of twelve (12) elements per group. Again, if these are popular, I will have multiple groups. You may choose your elements from the kit list and I will have a separate listing of elements for these groups.

It will take me longer to swap this one out. I am looking at a two week turn around, because I will want to photograph them all in their proper groups. So those that aren't in certain groups can scraplift them for their own pages. I wanted you know that upfront, incase that is too long, so you don't sign up and be disappointed that I wasn't quick like bunny like my other swaps.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone's ideas and elements they make for this swap.

1 Topper: maximum 8 x 2, at least 2 layers, embellished
2 Borders (pair): 11 inches long, 2 layers, embellished
2 Photo mats: at least 2 layers, embellished, sized to fit a 4x6 photo
2 Journal boxes: minimum3x3 writing space, sitting on top of 2 layers, embellished
2 tags: at least 2x3, double matted, embellished and fiber/ribbon/brad/eyelet in the hole

What sizes will we need to make the elements?

the elements for A, B, and C??

I can answer B and C
B - toppers bottom layer is 8x2
borders are 11x2
signage I would say 3 1/2 x 5??? we don't really have specifics on this right now, we need to decide about that but I figure the size of an index card would be good.

C - journal boxes - the writing space should be 3x3 (we need to update the glossary) and then double matted.
photo mats should be 4x6 ready which means the bottom layer should be no less than 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 and the middle layer should be no less than 4 1/4 x 6 1/4.

as for tags, not sure. We have so many ways of cutting tags now it's tough to decide. I'll defer to the hostess on that one.

Thanks for letting me know. It helps me decide if I am going to sign up. This year I am on a tighter budget so I want to consider the costs of the paper. I don't have a big stash of paper. I have a weakness for stickers especially Jolee's so I have a big stash of stickers.
It sounds like a really great swap I will probably sign up for a group or two!
