The asics were a bust. I need a half-size bigger, and the volume (vertically) in the toe box is too low. As a "toe lifter" they just aren't going to work, even with a larger size.
I'm going to head into Fleet Feet tomorrow to get fitted (again) and try on everything they suggest. When I originally got fitted they had me try on some Ghosts and I very, very much did not like them. But it's been 4 years now, and I have to figure something out. I'm a little intrigued by the glycerine max, and I might be able to get them on a discount from *a source.* Of course, I have to drive to the further-away and significantly less convenient location to try that shoe on and I do NOT care for the color they carry in the store, and I'll end up having to order them anyway if they even work.

from her. I promised to stop if it hurt. I reassured her it would be like 2 miles, and that I am not the crazy person who would just take a bunch of motrin and go bananas. (I was that person this summer.) She suggested that I do the exercises we've been working on to get things warmed up, and to do my 5min walk before I started running.
