Every-ONE is coming up DAISY!!! WDW & WWoHP w/ LOTS of pics - FINISHED 10/13, p 24

Jo! :cool1: Long time, no see. Glad you are here!!! :goodvibes When are you going? Are you doing a TR??
First 2 weeks in July and the girls will be 16 & 18 :faint: it's supposedly our last family vacation but we'll see...... And errr no TR, I'm too busy entering competitions these days and didn't even write one for our last trip which was my reward trip for the panel at the GF :rolleyes1

Well, guess what....I HAVE A THREE-YEAR-OLD!!! :scared1:
Happy Birthday Seth, he looked so thrilled with his castle - so cute!

I love all the Star Wars stuff you got, your boys are very lucky :goodvibes

Happy Belated Birthday to Seth!:bday: I'm so glad he liked his castle. I know my kids would have loved it when they were little.

I love that DW has play areas for the kids to burn off some energy. But they do make it hard to get them back out of those areas.

I totally approve your suggestion for "Once". It is a family favorite here and not to be missed. Can't wait for the new season to start. Only down side is they made Peter Pan scary.

Tower of Terror is my most favorite thrill ride at DW. I have been know to ride it alone when needed and will do it again.

Nice Star Wars goodies!

His reaction to the castle is so cute! I can't tell you how many times I've almost bought that castle  I just love it!

It is hard to believe Seth is 3 already! I'm glad he had a happy birthday! I saw your beach pics on FB - looks like you had a great time! So cute how he loves the Castle! :goodvibes

I lost our little foster grandbaby in the HOney I shrunk the kids play area - I was TERRIFIED! I hate that place. :rotfl2: I guess that lady needed to rest. :lmao: Funny how some people just think everything is about them.

Poor Granny - she shoots like me! :rotfl2: Well, I actually do score in TSM, but put me on Buzz and I might as well not even shoot. :lmao:

Nice finds in the SW store!

Life has been crazy here, and I totally missed this update. Happy Birthday to Seth! I love the pictures of him on each year. It's so fun to watch them grow, but it's a little (lot) heartbreaking, too. I want to hold onto my kids and yell that I need more time, but I don't think anyone's listening. :rotfl2: That's so cute how the princesses are dancing with their princes in the castle windows.

I know absolutely nothing about Star Wars, but that shirt you got for Seth is pretty stinking cute. And tell your mom not to feel bad. Seth could have not hit a single target and beat me. I'm awful at that game/ride!

Hope you guys had a blast at the beach.

LOL, The soap hat.
Some people are clueless of their surroundings.
Love the Star Wars pics.
Great TOT video.
Was your pic supposed to be like Memom? LOL

Happy Birthday to Seth, wow can't believe he is 3 already. I am enjoying your trip report, it looks like you had a great time. I love Seth's castle too. Can't wait to buy the Fisher Price little people Disney princess song palace for my granddaughter for Christmas. I'm sure it will not be a surprise to my daughter at all! Hope you had a great time on your beach trip.

Hi guys! Just wanted to say hello and apologize for going MIA after our beach trip. Just been super busy since we got back. I will hopefully have an update done in the next few days. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

SO I have to confess that I have never been to Disney Jr. My kids were a bit too old for it on their first visit, so we have never been. Does everyone sit on the floor?

Thanks for posting that pic of the Star Tours entrance, I wondered what the FP+ posts were going to look like there.

Your pics are great, looks like he had a blast! That castle is really neat!

I've been mia myself for awhile! Nice to catchup though! Great trip so far!
Seth is getting so big!

Can't wait for more!

Happy Birthday to Seth!!! (late)

That video is SO cute. How cool that he loves the castle!

It sounds like Seth had a great day at DHS.

My husband and kids LOVE Star Wars too. I like the shirt you picked for Ray, very cool.

Thanks! Yes, he loves that castle!! Ray likes the shirt too. :)

Great pics! :)

Thanks!!

I can't believe your girls are 16 and 18!! How time flies, huh? Well, you guys have fun. I know you will! :goodvibes

Have you watched the new season yet? I'm liking Peter so far. I think there will be a twist. Remember, Hook is a villian. Maybe Peter led Emma to Neverland b/c he wanted Hook or something like that? I just know there's something we don't know yet about him.

I looooove Tower of Terror!! I wish I could go to WDW just to ride it and then leave every now and again. :rotfl:

His reaction to the castle is so cute! I can't tell you how many times I've almost bought that castle  I just love it!

He loves it! Still plays with it almost every day.

I don't like Buzz either! I can't seem to hit squat in there. And oh my goodness...so sorry you lost him in the play area!!! How scary! :faint:

I love watching him grow but sometimes I just wish I could freeze time. He's so cute at this age!

:rotfl: I didn't even think of that! But yes, it was very Memom-ish, huh?

Thanks! Christmas is coming up fast....need to start my shopping! I seem to get later every year but I'm still always done by December. I HATE shopping in December!!

Yes, everyone sits on the floor but there are some benches near the back. It's not too bad but sometimes my legs do fall asleep!

I've been mia myself for awhile! Nice to catchup though! Great trip so far!
Seth is getting so big!

Can't wait for more!

Thanks! And thanks for stopping by!!

Hi, everyone! Phew...life has been crazy busy lately!! Just a lot going on and I'm proofing a murder trial for a court reporter I used to work with. Riveting stuff but it takes a lot of my time!

Before I get to the next update I thought I'd share some pics of our beach trip last month for Seth's 3rd birthday. Here's our little beach house....loved it!

The big oak tree in the yard was GORGEOUS.

Seth loved the sand. He wasn't too sure about the water the first day but by the second day he was getting in up to his chest (with our assistance). He had a blast!!

We also went into Savannah a couple of times to walk around River Street. I love the big old trees with Spanish moss!

My beloved pistachio gelato from the candy store....

Ray letting Seth pick out as much candy as he could....probably the best gift he got for his 3rd birthday!

Check out the name of the boat in the sand play area!

We went out to the beach one night after dinner to get some shots of Seth. I wanted to get some family pictures too but I forgot the contraption that connects the camera to our tripod, so Ray was able to finagle it to sit on there for one picture, which turned out okay.

'

Our last night we went down to the beach at sunset, when the tide was out. It was great. Seth had a blast playing in all the little pools that form while the tide is out.

I took this as we were walking back to the car. You can see how tired his little eyes are, and he was asleep within 2 minutes of getting into his car seat.

It was a good trip!

My dad was here a couple weekends ago (a late birthday visit for Seth) and we went to Zoo Atlanta. Here's a few pictures from that.

Loved the lion!

Here Seth is sitting on top of a statue of Willie B., the famous gorilla from Zoo Atlanta who passed away a few years ago. But the person who took the picture cut out the statue!

It's blurry but you can see the baby gorilla riding on mama's back.

These two little guys were wresting the entire time...it was so funny!

I think she's got the right idea.

This guy was my favorite. He was sitting literally 10 feet from us and was just staring at everyone staring back at him. These animals just amaze me. They are so much like us!

Another baby riding her mama's back...I loved this baby's hair! It was sticking up all over!

The Giant Pandas were awesome. This one was sitting right up near the glass chowing down on some bamboo. Seth LOVED the pandas!

You can see how close he was....the panda's foot is in the frame of the picture. Seth just loved them.

Pretty tiger....

The petting zoo area.....

Riding the zoo train with Grampy....

And riding the carousel with Mommy....

Okay....back to Disney World!!!

When I last left you we had just gone back to the condo for a break and got soaked in the process. Once we got back and dried off, Seth took a nap and we headed back to the park around 5:30 or so. You can see the rain had just let up when we got there.....

We had a dinner reservation at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic! dinner package so we headed that way. I think our reservation was for around 5:45 or so. I checked in and they gave us a buzzer, and then we just kind of walked around that area for a few minutes.

I love this shirt!

We saw Phineas and Ferb!

If Perry was there, I might have waited in line to meet him. ;)

We also saw Lightening McQueen and Mater!

Seth knows who they are but he's not really into that movie. He's watched it a few times but never really took to it. But he did grin in their direction!

We were buzzed to dinner and here's what we got. I had never done the Fantasmic! dinner package. With it you get one non-alcoholic beverage each, one appetizer each, one entree each and an assortment of desserts. I got a mixed greens salad for my appetizer....

Mom got a Caesar salad....

I think Seth got apples, which I ate most of. Then I ordered a cheese pizza for him.

I also ordered him the punch with the light-up Lightening McQueen, which he loved. He still plays with that thing!

He liked the craisins I brought with me more than the pizza. :confused3

Mom got oven-baked chicken alla parmigiana.....

I got a margherita flatbread....

Seth's ice cream with Mickey sprinkles....of which he picked the sprinkles off and ate those!

Our dessert assortment. I don't remember what everything was but it was good!

It was all very good, just too much food! We took home half of Mom's and most of mine for Terrie and Joshua for a late-night snack.

We had some time to kill before Fantasmic! and, even though I loathe this ride, we headed towards The Great Movie Ride b/c I knew Mom would enjoy it.

There was a short wait in the room that looks like a theater, and I was holding Seth. Well, he decided he wanted to tell me the parts of my face, and then the parts of his face....hair, eyes, ears, nose, and so on and so forth. Then he keeps going....shoulders, belly. Then he points to his bottom and says, "poopy." I sort of giggled and said, "Seth, we don't say that here." Well, because I had kind of giggled, he knew it was funny and he starts laughing REALLY LOUD and yelling "POOPY!!!!!" and pointing to his bottom. Mom and I were trying so hard not to laugh but we couldn't help it. Everyone around us was cracking up. Oh, the joys of having a boy. Sigh.

Here we are getting ready to go!

Some pictures you've probably already seen before. :)

I can't wait to see "Saving Mr. Banks" later this year!

My grandpa's idol....

I'll get you, my pretty!

I was kind of worried about the Alien part, but when Seth saw it he just pointed to it and said, "Dinosaur!" So I just went with that. As long as he wasn't freaking out and crying, it's a dinosaur!!! :lmao:

Next time....FANTASMIC!!!!

Aw, Dawn! Your beach holiday sounded lovely and those photos are just gorgeous! I especially love the one of sleepy Seth over Ray's shoulder... He looks so happy and content after an evening playing at the beach! Bliss!

And ahhh, Savannah. I love that place. Those beautiful trees! We'll have to go back there one day. :)

Mama Melrose... Gah! I'm still cross with them about ruining our plans for the Fantasmic package, all those years ago! Hehee. I'm glad you had a nice meal though!

Looking forward to reading more! :yay:

I enjoyed the pictures from all of your journeys - big and small. I know your parents love spending time with you guys no matter what you are doing.

We get the same pictures on GMR because those are the spots with the best lighting. I think the woman in the Alien scene is creepier than anything there.

Looks like Seth was having a blast stomping around in the water on the beach. What a fun way to learn about his world! We're going to be reading a story about jellyfish after fall break, and I would love to take my whole class to see a beach and some jellyfish -even if dead on the sand - for real. They lack so much 'real world' experience.

I enjoyed your updates. Your beach vacation sounds so nice. No one in my family is interested in the beach besides me. I'm glad Seth enjoyed it. He is such a handsome little guy.

It was nice of the rain to stop for y'all when you arrived at DHS. I love Fantasmic, I hope the rain doesn't come back. I wonder if Seth was scared. We couldn't convince my son to see Fantasmic until he was about 9! I don't know what he thought was going to happen.

Great Beach and Zoo trip.

Leave it to a little Boy to find the perfect time when you are trapped to pull the poopy out. :lmao:

Looks like he enjoyed the GMR.
