Every-ONE is coming up DAISY!!! WDW & WWoHP w/ LOTS of pics - FINISHED 10/13, p 24

I love your Dis meet pictures Dawn! It looks like it was a really fun day.

Seth's light-up shoes are awesome! It's hilarious how we change our minds about certain things when we actually have kids. The video of him dancing is hilarious! What a little ham. :thumbsup2

Your food looks yummy at H & V. Too bad you had to wait a little longer. Timing is everything with character meals, isn't it?

We did have a good time seeing each other that day! :) Yes, kids will change your mind about things, for sure! We had such good luck with not waiting at Cape May....not so much at H&V but it's just the luck of the draw, I guess! :thumbsup2

So sorry I've been MIA...so busy with work and life lately! Thought I'd do a quick update while I have a few minutes before bed. :)

Okay, so where were we? Just finishing up breakfast at Hollywood & Vine. So where shall we head now? Well, before we went anywhere, we ran into this crossing our path!

My mom, being a Disney newbie, said, "Oh, look....it's a parade!" :rotfl: I told her that was the Citizens of Hollywood street performers starting a show. We didn't really watch b/c I knew Seth wouldn't really "get" it, so we headed for Animation Courtyard. I wanted to see what time the next Disney Junior Live on Stage show was.

Seth loved the big hat!

The show wasn't for a little while, so we decided to go into the Magic of Disney Animation. We skipped the movie and went straight into the area where you can meet characters and where they have the kids' activities. Mickey's line was pretty long so we just waved as we went by. Wreck It Ralph wasn't out yet. So we just let Seth play with some of games there.

A pink Flounder!

He loved these spinny things.

Playing the "Which Disney Character Are You?" game again. He did this several times.

Scary!

As we were leaving he saw Stitch on the wall and ran over to him. He loves Stitch!

When we came out it was about 10 minutes before the next Disney Junior Live on Stage show, so we hopped in line. I don't remember waiting longer than a few minutes before they opened the doors. My mom wasn't thrilled with sitting on the floor. She said it hurt her back and legs after awhile. I told her she could go stand up in the back but she said she'd be fine. Seth did great waiting for the show!

He LOOOOOOOOOVED this once it started!!!! Probably one of his favorite things of the trip!

Enthralled!

I took several videos. These are some of my favorites of the trip! (Click to play.)

He likes the villians....gets that from his mama! pirate:

He had a blast and loved every minute of it! :goodvibes I didn't take any pictures of the show b/c I was so focused on getting his reactions. Plus Ray took a zillion during our last trip.

Well, that's it for tonight. Next time....spider webs and ant hills, oh my!

How sweet. :goodvibes

It is great watching his reactions. He really enjoyed the show.

Aw, Seth looks so happy! He's just adorable, Dawn! :)

Thanks for the congrats for our little bubba... Leo is 5 months old now and keeping me very happily busy! Can't wait to take him to WDW in October. :)

The girls have always loved doing this.

I almost always sit on one of the 'grandma benches' against the walls in the back. If it is not crowded and I can stretch my legs out, I can do the floor, but there's no more criss-cross applesauce for me!

You present such a case for not taking little ones to Disney World. I mean, they're not gonna remember it. Such a waste of money! :upsidedow

Big kids and little kids like playing with the hands on stuff in the Animation area. I have trouble dragging my big kids away to this day.

Seth is so precious watching Disney Live. The first time I took my youngest she was 3 and it was her favorite show. Enjoy it while you can.

Loving your TR Dawn and wow Seth is so big and such a cutie :goodvibes

I think I've been AWOL from the DIS for much longer than you but I've now got a trip booked so thought I'd venture back :)

Thanks! Just wait until you get him to Disney World....it's an entirely different story with a little one! Like nothing you will ever experience. :goodvibes

Looks like the show was a hit for you cutie!

He loved it!

She should have done that, but she didn't want to get up after she had already gotten down. :rotfl:

I think the best part is MY memories of him seeing everything!

:goodvibes

Those videos are precious! I'm glad Seth enjoyed the show.

Thanks! He adored it. So glad he did!

I bet! I'm sure that will be a definite stop for us for a long time to come! He loved the show and I loved him watching him enjoy it!

Hey, guys! Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the first days of fall!

Well, guess what....I HAVE A THREE-YEAR-OLD!!! :scared1: How did that even happen??? Yesterday was Seth's birthday and I'm still in denial. :rotfl:

Before I get started on an update, thought I'd share a few pics and videos with you. We decided not to do a party this year. We realized after his party last year that he doesn't care one way or the other, it's ridiculously expensive and stressful, and it's more for the neighborhood kids anyway. Why were we doing that to ourselves?? So we decided this year to take our kid to the beach and have some family time. He's only been to the beach once before, but he was only 6 months old and it was early March, so it was cold and we didn't get in the water. It was more a trip to Savannah and we just drove out to Tybee Island for a couple hours. We leave tomorrow after work for the beach and I can't wait to see how much he loves it!

My mom was here this past weekend and of course we still wanted to do something with the family, so Ray's family, my mom, Ray, myself and Seth all headed to Chuck E Cheese to let him go nuts for a couple hours. He loved it, of course. My dad's coming in a couple weeks and maybe we'll go to the zoo or something for a late birthday celebration with him. Anyway, we came back to our house so Seth could open presents and we had a cookie cake (my weirdo kid won't eat real cake....go figure!). Here's a video of us singing happy birthday to him (click to play).....

Here's my birthday boy on his birthday (yesterday). Can't believe he's 3!

I put this together last night. :sad2:

And a bonus birthday bathtime picture! :rotfl:

I think I've mentioned on here before how obsessed Seth has been with the Castle since we got home from WDW. He LOVES it! Anything that has a tall, sharp ceiling (like a church) he thinks is the Castle and he gets so excited when seeing it! So we decided we'd get him one for his birthday. I had to order it and it didn't arrive until today. We were going to take it to the beach to give to him there but it was huge, so we knew it would take too much space in the car. So we gave it to him today (click to play)....

I love that kid! :goodvibes

I think he was a bit excited.

I took this a few minutes ago. This is the back of the castle at night with the lights turned on. SO COOL!!!

So we leave tomorrow after work for 4 nights at Tybee Island. I can't wait. I think Seth is going to just love the beach! I'm sure I will have some pictures to share when I get back. :thumbsup2

Okay, now back to the TR.....

So we had just finished up Disney Junior Live on Stage. Our FP to Toy Story weren't quite ready yet, so I thought I'd let Seth blow off a little steam and play on the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground for a few minutes.

On the way over I was held captive in Tatooine for awhile....

He loved this too! Had a blast!

He climbed up and down this spiderweb at least 20 times.

I had to get this one. That lady sat on that ant for at least 25 minutes. I'm pretty sure that's there for the kids to play on. Right??

Continued in next post: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=49487806&postcount=238

I finally got Seth to follow me out (okay, maybe I had to pick him up and carry him out) only to find that someone got sick in the entrance way....always a fun thing to walk around. Yuck!

Finally, our TSM fastpasses were ready!!!

Once again, Seth loved this! He would laugh every time we'd move and I let him shoot the gun for the most part. He had a blast!

Seth shooting and we still beat Granny. :rolleyes1

After the ride I looked at the wait for Buzz and Woody and it was even worse than before, so we kept walking. I was itching to ride my beloved Tower of Terror, but before we headed to that side of the park I wanted to swing by Tatooine Traders to see what I could get for Ray (who LOVES Star Wars).

We walked through the Streets of America area. Very shortly all this will be covered in lights!

One of my very FAVORITE shows on TV (and I don't watch much TV). Love it! If you don't watch this and you're a Disney fan, you need to. It's really good. But you need to start from the beginning. Otherwise you'll be lost.

Here we are!

This place is always crazy crowded so Mom walked around with Seth while I went inside. Here's what I got....

For Ray....

For Seth...

It says: Judge Me By My Size, Do You?

And the back.....

And then I got Ray/Seth some of these. Ray always gets them when he comes to DHS. They are little packs of SW figurines with a Disney character thrown in and you never know what you're going to get.

Another Star Wars Weekends poster I snapped for Ray....

Young Jedis were being trained as we walked by....

That same guy was the Jedi Master when Ray and I watched this show in October 2011!

On the way over to Tower of Terror, I saw this. Never noticed it before!

Mom went over to one of the little eateries on the lefthand side and got she and Seth a snack while I headed for Tower of Terror. The wait wasn't too long...the posted time was 20 minutes but I didn't wait more than 2 to get into the preshow, and then maybe 15 minutes after that. This is my absolute favorite ride in all of Disney World. Nothing makes me laugh like this...I love it!

Here's the video (click to play).....

And here's my redneck picture. I'm in the back row, right side.

After that we decided to take an afternoon break. On the way out we stopped to grab a Photopass picture....

As the photographer was taking that one it was starting to rain. So we booked it to the front of the park. Seth needed a diaper change so we stopped by the baby center. I hadn't been in this one yet. Small but nice!

As we were leaving I saw Jedi Mickey and Darth Goofy dolls for sale near the entrance, so I had to stop to get them. Mom stood under a cover while I quickly paid for them, then we fast-walked to the car in the rain. This was the one time we all got pretty soaked. Seth was just kinda confused on why he was getting so wet in his stroller! :lmao:

Here he is with his dolls....I think Ray wanted to steal these when we came home!

Next time, back to DHS for more fun and Fantasmic!

Happy Birthday to Seth!!! (late)

That video is SO cute. How cool that he loves the castle!

It sounds like Seth had a great day at DHS.

My husband and kids LOVE Star Wars too. I like the shirt you picked for Ray, very cool.
