When does Everest open to the general public? I have the opportunity to stay for FREE off site- my first time and I am feeling a bit slighted! Can we ride it in MArch?

the expected date was on april.... something! i dont know why they cant open it now!!!...

Official opening will be April 7 with a media event. But there will be opportunities to ride it before then, know as "soft openings."

You have to hope that one of the days you are there coincides with a soft opening period!

Often the soft openings start even before passholder previews (not this time), and often the ride is pretty much completely open well before the official opening date.

I rode it 12 times on Thursday and once today - it is a wonderful attraction, I can't wait to ride it again! I'd be surprised if it went down for a long length of time before opening to guests.
