I've wanted to, ever since it opened! I finally got my chance to visit there for 4 days, and although the weather wasn't great, DH and I still enjoyed ourselves. It's a beautiful resort! :)

The main building, from the beach. The boardwalk down to the beach (which was damaged during last fall's hurricanes), hadn't been re-opened yet, but the work was mostly completed.

Repair work is still ongoing. We were in the room at the top right, under the curved overhang. A beautiful ocean view room! :)

I would love to rent one of the beach front cottages for a week! :)

The pool slide. It's a hoot!

Walking down the beach, you see the rebuilding from the hurricanes. It must of been an awful mess.

More stormy weather approaching!

Our last morning at Vero Beach. Hopefully we'll be back someday! :)

Absolutely beautiful spot Kim! :sunny:

Nice to hear that you had a great time! :earsgirl:

Thanks for the pictures we leave in 2 days for Vero. It's our first time and
looking forward to it. :flower:

Great pictures Kim! I especially like the sunset pic :) How far is Vero Beach from WDW?

Have a wonderful time, Poohbear 7!! :sunny: The strawberry daiquiris at Eb & Flos are yummy! In case you get thirsty.... ;)

Vicky, Disney's VBR is 100 miles from WDW. Approximately an hour and a half drive, unless of course, you feel a need to stop at Cracker Barrel, or a Super Target. ;)

Thanks for sharing...great pics!

That beach cottage looks AMAZING!!
(wishing to win the lottery... :wizard: )

Very nice, Kim! That sunrise is gorgeous! The resort looks beautiful although it didn't look like it was very busy, when you were there?

Ooh Super Target! I love to shop so that would probably add an hour or two to the drive :rotfl: I haven't been to Cracker Barrel in ages though so I can't remember what that's like. I remember going with my parents when we drove down one year.

Those are great pictures,Kim.Love the sunset one.

Beautiful! I'm going to send a link to this thread to my Dsis, who will be joining us there for Memorial weekend!

Thanks.
Bobbi :flower:

The pics look great. Do they offer anything similar to the resorts at WDW ex. character meals or anything at all like that???
How are the dining options? Do they offer counter service type restaurants or just sit downs??
The pool looks amazing.
