Ever Used Priceline for Car Rental?

I used Priceline for a car rental (got Alamo) for a trip to MI to see my family next week. Since it's prepaid, I'm wondering how much of a hold they will put on my check card. I know the priceline site says at least $100, but does anyone know for sure?

I don't know...did you check the debit box during the bidding process where they ask you whether you will be using a credit or a debit card??

I would assume you can call Alamo and find out...last time I used a debit card for a car rental (2 years or so ago) they put a $500 hold until the car was returned. (That was National I believe)

Yeah I checked that box. I'm sure the $500 hold was because your car wasn't prepaid (with priceline it is). I know that Dollar and enterprise authorize $350 on a non prepaid rental. I guess I'll call tomorrow and find out.
