Ever use Expedia to book WDW Resort?

Has anyone ever used Expedia to make a reservation at WDW Resort?
I couldn't get WL,POFQ, CBR or AKL for the first week of August with the discounted rate despite numerous calls. We took PO Riverside at the discounted rate. We like PO Riverside but prefer WL and POFQ.
Went to Expedia and found they have POFQ for the same discounted rate but they charge about $5/day more in handling fees (and cancellation policy is similar to old Disney Travel Company policy). I'm wondering why they still have rooms but WDW and other travel sites (Travelocity, Orbitz, etc.) do not.
Any experiences with Expedia?

I'm curious about any responses. I just noticed that Expedia has some really good prices on the Values, including Pop. Of course, it's for the week after next, which is a week AFTER we return. Bummer.

I know the answer.
I was just trying to book a vacation for my boss for the first week in Aug.
I called Disney and they only had a 3 bdrm villa at SSR. I found this hard to believe, so I hung up and called again to get a different person, they said the same thing as the first one.
I then went to Expedia and found other rooms. While I had the internet still in front of me, I called Disney and explained that I was looking at open rooms in other resorts and the CM told me that Expedia buys out blocks of rooms at many of the Disney resorts, and then sells them for whatever they (Expedia) can get for them. That is why Expedia will have sales on last minute Disney trips, because they already bought the rooms- now they just need to unload them for whatever rate they can get.
I thought that was pretty interesting. I knew Expedia holds other rooms at many other non-Disney resorts, but apparently at Disney they need to PURCHASE them.
