I'm not a lurker, but I definitely don't have time to reply to every thread I read! I don't come here as much as I used to because I'm always so busy, but I do read a lot of threads.

Yep. And IMO there is nothing wrong with reading a post but not responding. My goodness. Sometimes you read a title and click but then you read and have nothing to say. Or you click and the post is so long it would take your lunch hour to read it. There are many reasons to read but not post.

But of course I do post but I read more.

The average ratio of reads/replies is 10% thats amazing!!


There are only 10% of replies to the amount of views, now whenyou consider that when you reply it actually takes 2 views ( one to view and one to post) that still leaves 8% just reading and not typing.

I lurk alot! I think mostly because I am interested in what other people have to say. I almost never think my opinion is the only one on a topic, and I would have to feel extemely strong about something to post my point of view.

I mostly reply to "your experience type posts" or "what's for dinner"

Guilty as charged! Check out my post count as opposed to the length of time I have been a member. Just part of my personality. I like to sit back and passively observe what is going on around me.
