just outside of WDW? How was it? Was it a royal pain getting in and out of the parks?

Also, if you used their "kids club" what were you're thoughts?

Thanks so much for any info! :grouphug:

There have been a couple of recent threads about this resort. You might try the search function.

We stayed there in March and were satisfied with it. Didn't use the kids club.

It's no problem at all to get to and from the Disney parks. The resort is in a very convenient location. Probably 10 - 15 minutes tops to any Disney place you want to go. Less to the Animal Kingdom.

if you can avoid the sales people - they are sharks.

don't buy - no matter what is promised - they lie alot.

I own at this place and really hate it because of the sales staff.

Agree with Spiceycat. We own there too. It is a nice resort. Ok as long as you ignore/avoid the sales pressure. Never, ever consider a purchase from the sales staff no matter what they promise. Best to avoid them entirely to have the best visit. You are under no obligation to sit through their presentation(s) - better described as a torture - if you trade in or rent. If you take one of the heavily discounted stays they offer you are committing to the "90 minute" (it WILL go much longer) presentation. As long as you say NO - and you'll have to say many, many times - even that can be OK. I repeat - never even consider buying from the developer even if you absolutely love the resort as they charge 4 or 5 times what the same resort can be purchased for on resale.

Wow, that much pressure huh! What a nightmare!

Actually we already own in Virginia and this was one of the resorts we could choose from for our weeks exchange. We can also choose to stay at Wilderness Lodge on site. Maybe we should try WL instead?? I don't want to have to punch any sales people while I'm on vacation:lmao:

Thanks everyone for your:hug: help!!

hey if you can stay onsite do it!!!

sorry some will disagree with me - but a studio or 1-bedroom on site is much better than a 2 or 3 bedroom offsite, especially Westgate.

go get that DVC now - before it is gone!!!
