So, thanks to the Dis, I've found out soo much, including everything I ever could have wanted to know about joining DVC. I've spent almost the last year planning a trip to WDW, (our roommates first visit ever!) and a few months ago, we took the plunge and this will be our first DVC visit ever. 
Well, I'm beside myself excited right now! I've been looking for ways to do a little something extra to make our first DVC visit really stand out and be something special.
So, where is all of this leading? I logged onto the Dis this morning and saw the announcement in the top left corner saying the Wishes Dessert Party was extended through December!! And, OMG, it happened while we were there, on a night when I could make it work with the rest of our trip plans! We have Biergarten booked at 2:55, Dessert Party at 9pm... plenty of time to work up the sweettooth after a nice late lunch/early dinner! It just fell into place!
Going to be the best first DVC trip EVER!!
