Ever made a drastic Hair Color change?

My natural hair colour is mousy brown so I changed to blonde. Although I had highlights and gradually changed the tone a few times so now I have blonde hair but it looks really natural as in different lights you see the slight variations in colour.

Drastic hair color change Just last Sat. I tried a different brand of hair colorant. It made my hair an off shade of red.
Actually I liked it, but DH thought hehehe

I've been coloring my hair for many years, since it started turning white. My natural color is strawberry blonde, but I've been blonde (hated), dark brown, dark auburn, light auburn. These days I keep to the darker auburn. Goes well with my green eyes. I tend to look at hair coloring as an accessory, but am almost ready to go natural just to see what it's like.

My daughter is a very dark brunette, like her dad, and dyes her hair blue-black. She has bright blue eyes and the look is absolutely stunning.

Yup. The worst was topaz (it looked so good on the box!!) and black (I thought it would emphasize my blue eyes, instead it just emphasized how flat my hair is).

These days I stick with my natural dark blonde hair and put lighter shades of blonde highlights in it.

My hair is naturally a reddish brown color and there is no way I will ever change it (well until I start going gray ). It's one thing I get complemented on a lot. My sister just got blonde highlights in her hair about a year ago and I hated it. I got used to it after awhile, but I honestly thought her hair looked a lot nicer without it.

I can't afford to highlight my hair right now and it's been killing me for MONTHS! My sister just did her DD's herself and it turned out perfect. She's willing to try mine but here's my question............I have long hair. At least half way down my back. Can this be pulled through a cap? Some have hesitantly said yes, others have said no way, it has to be foiled.
Anybody cap long hair?

I'm a natural brunette and I accidentally dyed my hair pitch black. When I was trying to fix it, I ended up making "leopard spots" that were almost blonde in my hair. I try not to play with hair dye too much anymore
