Not child me. But teenage me needed a slap upside the head from adult me.

Yeah, I fell down the steps and broke my arm just a couple days before my 3rd birthday. My brother was 9 years older than me and always traumatized me as a kid. He was just mean. I’ve always wondered if he pushed me. I’ve never been close to him. He lives just 10 minutes away but I rarely see him. He’s a jerk.

I used to....I used to be very embarrassed of my child-self....especially my tween/teen years. Then eventually I learned I was autistic and that helped changed my viewpoint.

Now I worry more about what my child self thinks of my 50-year-old self. She's surely very disappointed I don't live in the Madison Wi. Capital building. She's probably happy I'm still a Disney fan, though.

I felt I was extremely overweight my whole childhood. It carried through to my teen years and particularly in high school. I felt I was ugly and unpopular. Then just a few years ago my sister transferred all my parents 8mm home movie film onto DVDs. She sent me a copy and I swear to the heavens that if I had known that I looked that good in my teen years I would have created a reputation for myself. I didn't look fat at all. I guess it's just as well that I didn't know, I'm not sure I could have handled that much power.
