I think I am just going to go to bed now for the rest of the day....
Everything I try to do today is going crazy!! For instance, I figured since it was a nice day here, I would take advantage and steam clean the carpets. Sounded simple enough. I get out the steam cleaner, add water and soap and off I go.............unfortunately, the steam cleaner decided it didn't want to work! It wouldn't release any solution! 
I get out the book to it, follow all the steps in the trouble-shooting section...still nothing! I call Bisell and spend the next half hour with a tech guy talking me through all kinds of steps to figure out the problem. Still nothing. He says it sounds like it is blocked up. As a last resort, I spend 15 minutes with straight hot water in the tank, holding down the button to see if the blockage can be dissolved. Finally, the machine is working! 
I get the carpets cleaned, the machine safely stored away. I hear the cat crying at the front door. I let her in and within 5 minutes, I hear the rather disgusting sound coming from the living room....that I just cleaned. The nice little kitty comes inside only to hack up a furball all over the nice clean rug!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Now tell me, why couldn't she do that outside??!!
If anything else happens, don't call me. I'll be the one hiding under the rock! (of course, with my luck today, it will be the rock sitting on a patch of poison ivy!
