Ever heard of NJ diet?

Hi, I live on Long Island been hearing these commercials for NJ diet.

Apparently started in New Jersey and now have offices in NY.

They take DNA, hair, saliva to create a diet plan for you.

Anyone heard of this?

Never heard of it, but sounds bogus to me.

Maybe try putting a giant sugar cube in your mouth before you give them a saliva sample and see what they come up with. :rotfl2:

Never heard of it but you’d be throwing your money away. Your DNA has nothing to do with weight loss. Barring medical conditions the ONLY way to lose weight is to take in less than you burn. How you choose to do that is up to you but don’t be snowed by all these “miracle” plans. The only thing they’ll make lighter is your wallet.

Like one pp said about throwing your money away although, you could mail me that DNA diet money. :teeth:

There is a company here in Australia that is selling it. Basically I think it’s meant to tell you why you gain weight and ways to help you lose it (e.g. ‘you should eat 6 small meals a day’ or ‘you should eat more protein’). However, I don’t think it really spells out exactly what you should eat, e.g. recipe suggestions. My mum had a customer who was doing it and while she was getting some results, they weren’t outstanding.

Lost a bunch of weight and when the doctor asked how I did it, I said, Eat less/Do more.

He agreed, that's the way to do it. The only way to do it.
