I'm not booked on the 2025 DVC
ABD Netherlands Belgium River Cruise, but I did a similar river cruise recently and can share some insights! The Netherlands and Belgium offer a beautiful mix of history, art, and scenic views. If you're into architecture, the canal houses in Amsterdam and the medieval buildings in Bruges are stunning. Don’t miss the chance to see the windmills and tulip fields if they’re in season. For art lovers, the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam are must-visits, as well as the Magritte Museum in Brussels. When it comes to food, definitely try the traditional Belgian waffles and Dutch stroopwafels. And, of course, sampling some Belgian chocolate is a must!
The river cruise itself should be relaxing and a fantastic way to see the landscape. Make sure to bring a good camera and comfortable walking shoes for all the exploring. If anyone else is thinking of booking this trip, I’d love to hear what you're most looking forward to. For those who have done this cruise before, any tips or highlights to share?
