Ever have trouble getting in touch with family??

I swear I don't know what's going on! My parents hardly ever talk to me anymore. I sent an email last week -- no response. I called on Sunday night, but my sister said they were on some sort of retreat until Wednesday (today.) I talked to my sister online this afternoon who said my parents were home, so I called tonight around dinner and no answer, so I left a short message. Nobody return the message so I called around 8:30 and sister answers again (my parents might as well pay them to be their secretaries!) -- dad is driving kids somewhere and my mom is a Bible Study...ok tell them to call me when they get home. Well now it's almost 10 p.m. and still no call! I hate calling them this late, but this is getting ridiculous.

They are living in the country now but it seems like they were NEVER gone this much when we lived in the city! It's just crazy, I haven't heard from them in weeks, aside from a short email! Every time I call my sister informs me that they are gone somwhere.

Argh just starting to frustarate me because next week is fall break and I need to know if they can pick me up...my boss at work is bugging me to let them know by tommorow morning so that she can work out the schedule!

I sure hope you get ahold of them soon. I'm on the opposite side of the coin...my DS is off to college in Detroit and I never can get ahold of him. I don't call him but I do send an e-mail now and then. Good luck!

I don't know what to tell you. My DH's parents are the same way. His mother is never home and never calls back and his dad is never home, but at least answers his cell. I know it frustrates him to no end.

Is it possible that your sister is not giving them your messages for some reason? Do they have a cell phone you could call?
