Ever had Edible Arrangements delivered to your resort?

We'll be celebrating DD's 8th birthday at Disney in February. She loves fruit, and I thought she would like the "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" arrangement (Mickey head shaped pineapple!) I have 2 questions: have you tried this arrangement (and your thoughts), and have you ever had Edible Arrangements delivered to your resort room?

"Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" arrangement (Mickey head shaped pineapple!)

What??? :scared1: Off to go research that one! I think I may be waiting for an answer too! lol

I don't know how to link to the website from my phone, but if you google "Mickey Mouse Edible Arrangements" it comes right up. Do you think they could dip the pineapple Mickey ears in chocolate? YUM!( I thought dancing fruit would be appropriate for this thread, lol :rotfl:)

They dip some OD their fruit. I wonder if you could request it.

We have ordered the mickey mouse selection and the princess one in the past and they were great. We had them delivered to our room at the Polynesian. The kids loved them and the fruit was really fresh.

I had asked at the time about getting some of the fruit dipped in chocolate, but they said they couldn't allow it with any of the licensed arrangements. We were told that these arrangements were set and had been pre-approved. :confused3

That was 2 years ago however, so it is possible that the policy has changed.

I think this is a wonderful idea - expecially to have something nutricious to much on in the room... but how long does the fruit keep? Since we'd be there for 9 days... I'd like the fruit to last a while. Do you bring zip-locs to keep the fruit in? Just curious.

Will you have a fridge? We get these a lot (have one local), but always break it down and refridgerate it.

We are staying at POFQ - so I believe we will have a fridge... not sure if you were asking me or someone else. :lovestruc

We've gotten this a couple of times and for us it didn't last more than a few days in the fridge. At that point the fruit started to go. But the two times we did it, I was super impressed with the quality and it was really cute. Never thought to deliver to the hotel while at disney, the kids would LOVE it, great idea thanks! Fun way to have some fresh fruit at the hotel.
