Ever get motion sickness during a movie?

Definitely. Some of the ones already mentioned. Blair Witch. Bourne. And another, I think it was Battle LA maybe? IMAX is also a problem.

Dramamine helps sometimes. OR waiting until they are on video and watching them on a smaller screen at home. Something about the "big" screen amplifies the effect.

I've never had motion sickness from movies, but video games? Oh yes. One particular one, I felt like I was still moving with the character even after I stopped playing and really dizzy.

Came close once. On the Disney Magic cruise ship in the Buena Vista theater, watching the first Pirates Caribbean movie......in very very rough seas. The theater is all the way forward and down. Very interesting effect during the scenes when the pirates were at sea.

I was actually going to say the exact same thing - Pirates 3, Disney Magic, very rough seas. The scenes on the ships gave me the strangest feeling of free-falling or being on a roller coaster. The theater in the bow of the ship made that sensation that much worse. DD and DH got very ill but I just couldn't stand that roller coaster sensation any longer.

I've never had this happen to me before last night.

DH, DS (who suffers from motion sickness) and I went to see Captain Phillips. I was fine during the previews and during the beginning part of the movie. Once they got onto the water, I felt horrible. DS was fine! I really didn't know what was happening to me, but I finally got up and left. I went outside in the fresh air and laid on a bench. I couldn't close my eyes while I was laying there or else I felt sick. About 30 minutes later it was gone and I've been fine since. It was such an odd feeling and one I can say I've never really experienced before. Oh well. DH and DS tell me it was a great movie. Guess I'll never know!

Not that I can think of? I have gotten nauseas watching my boyfriend play some video games! Halo and skyrim to be exact, for those who are familiar.

Only once and it was a Harry Potter movie which had a big Quidditch match toward the beginning. Had to close my eyes
