Has anyone every fallen asleep in the parks? Last Christmas we had stayed the night at my aunts house before going to the park, she has cats and everyone, but me is allgeric to them so not much sleep was gotten that night. The next day around 8 we were riding the grand circle tour on the train and everyone totally fell asleep we must have road it 3 times before actually being conscious for our stop! I was reminded of this today when talking to my mom about our upcoming trip and thought Id see if we were the only crazy's :faint:

Can't say that I have. I've always tried to give myself time to go back to the hotel for a "nap" but that's never even happened. I get too wired, sleep isn't an option.

I might be able to slow down and rest, but I am just wondering around with the big stupid grin on my face.

At DL sleep is low on the list for me ... I used to wait around and try to drag DH into the park early. He didn't want to be rushed and I HAD to get to DL! So instead of both of us being unhappy, I just go without him! Then he comes when he's ready, or I go back to the room when I am done if he's not. Although getting no sleep the night before might be a little different :goodvibes

Im ordinarly that way to, this was the first time Id ever even needed a nap! really it was the combo of school all day, driving all afternoon and evening, opening some Christmas presents with family then no sleep that night, followed by a 4 am wake up call for DL!

That's really the way to go! Every time I go with someone we all have our different get-ready-in-the-morning-and-get-there routines and I'm the one who has to get there fast and early so I go off on my own for a bit. It makes for a happy party.

I've fallen asleep in the Tiki Room and on POTC. There's some rides/attractions that are just so easy to sleep during, especially when you get to day 4 or so.

Yes I have especially in shows. Worst nap attack was driving an ECV in SeaWorld, lol, I drove over a slanted curb right into ta grassy area. Worst nap was in the caves, stinky yucky potty smell, during the 25th anniversary party that lasted from like 11 pm to midnight the next day.

I did last September at WDW. After we had scheduled our 2-week trip, I found out that I needed to go to a convention in Santa Barbara that overlapped our trip. I had a red-eye back from Santa Barbara to Orlando, and I can never sleep on airplanes. I ended up reading and watching movies all night, then going straight to the park with the family. I crashed on a bench while the kids were waiting for pictures with some characters, then I kept falling asleep on rides.

Hubby has on the train, and definitely on POTC. But that's before we figured out his blood sugar issues (he has an interesting form of diabetes, it turns out), and it was always after a soda or sugary treat...his blood sugar was spiking and crashing and he would pass out.

Since that doesn't happen anymore, I guess it'll just be me, on about the 7th time through Heimlich's Chew Chew Train, when there's no line and we're allowed to go around again without getting off, when I'm already tired. :)

I can pretty much fall asleep anywhere at anytime. I am like a light switch. Turn me off--I am out.

That said, I have fallen asleep on POTC, HM, Nemo, IASM, tiny snooze on Winnie the Pooh.

Name a show, and I've caught 40 winks. Yep, Muppets, Honey I shrunk, Bug's life and Aladdin!!

The list is longer for WDW since there are more napping opportunities!!!

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!

I was seconds from dropping on POTC my last trip, my only excuse being pregnant. I thought I would get in trouble or I would have curled up and slept the whole ride from the skeleton on the wall warning me "dead men tell no tales". But this is very rare for me!

My DH has. The first time, he was sick when we were at WDW a few years ago, so he kept taking shorts naps on nearby empty park benches while I took the kids on rides. I think he found this so refreshing, that now anytime we go to the parks, he is bound to take one little cat nap on a park bench while I take the kids on a ride at least once per trip.

Two years ago, my then 10 yo DS fell asleep during the fireworks show. That in itself isn't that big of a deal but we happened to grab some park benches right in the hub and with the fireworks going around us the music blarring. It was hysterical. Sorry I don't have a pix, his was out like a light mouth wide open and everything.:rotfl2:

My husband has in the Hall of Presidents and many people were sleeping the The Nemo Show in AK

My Dh and Ds(11) both fell asleep together on the train also...it made for a great photo op!

I almost took a nice nap waiting for the Crush Talk show in the waiting room lol.

I personally have not, but many of my cousins have fallen asleep on POTC! I can see why though... It's very warm in there for some reason lol.

Absolutely. On a hot summer day in the air conditioned Tiki Room. Woke up and looked around - 75% of the people were asleep!

No, but I've come close a few times. In the Tiki Room, waiting for Crush. I get tired easy and our DL trips usually wipe me out. DBF has sat on one of the benches in the Animation Building and dozed off on my shoulder while the girls are running thru the Sorcerers Workshop, the Beasts Library and Ursulas Grotto. :)
