Ever, Ever After: The TR Formerly Known as Wishing You Were Here- May 2011

Yay! Another great TR! I wish we had a Disney Store close to us so I could start my Vinylmation collecting. DD would love Jessie, Woody, Buzz and Bullseye. She is Toy Story obsessed! I loved following along in your adventure and I hope you guys have so much fun on your upcoming trip!

Great trip report! :cool1: Can't wait to read the next one, especially since we will be there at the same time!

I really love that Buzz Lightyear Vinylmation, he's so cute! :lovestruc

LOL, Landon really made a mess with that brownie! :rotfl:

I'm one of your lurkers :goodvibes I really enjoyed tagging along on your vacation - your boys are absolutely adorable! I'll be watching for your October report!

Have a great time on your upcoming trip! I can't wait to hear all about it. We will be at WDW the exact same dates- Maybe if I see the great big dimples on your boys it will make me brave enough to stop and say hi!! I was thinking about writing my own trip report (we are going for the first time with DS who turns 2 during the trip along with my parents and my mother in law) but I don't know if I could compete with your fabulous trip reports!

I'm glad you have a new trip coming up so soon since this TR is now finished. Can't wait to hear all about your adventures and see how having two boys that walk will be. :thumbsup2

The rest of the drive home was dull and boring. By the end of the drive, two of the four of us were absolutely sick of The Wiggles.
:lmao:

Landon made a complete recovery from his cold, which no one else ever caught. Perhaps it was just related to teething and not a true cold.

Landon began walking a couple weeks after we got home. He became a cheerful and easygoing little boy, once he was independent in walking. I personally found my overall quality of life to have gone up by at least 65%.

About a month after our trip, my local Disney Store started doing Vinylmation trades. They only have a clear trading box, so it isn't quite as much fun as it is at Disney World, but it's something. I'll be returning to Disney World with quite a different set than the set I brought home.

I'm still trying to decide which ones to trade and which ones to keep.

Time has flown by so fast since our May trip. I can't quite believe that it's only eight days until we return to Disney World.

I want to thank all of my readers, whose comments have been a source of great joy and inspiration to me. I've loved every second of this trip report and truly appreciate all of you who joined me in reliving fond memories of my past.

I do also want to thank my lurkers (who will remain anonymous) for their significant contribution to my page views.

My friends, I leave you with the answer to the age-old question of how big a mess a toddler can make with a fourth of a brownie.

That is fantastic!!

Until Next Time,
Kate

I have truly enjoyed reading this Kate! I admire your strength in character to take two boys under three to Disney World by yourself! I sometimes panic taking Madelyn to the grocery store by myself. Thank you to Carter and Landon, for being the adorable little boys that they are. And thank you to Jeremy for having work to do in Florida so you could mosey on over to the world!

Have a great time on your trip!!:yay: We will expect a full report when you return!

I just wanted to drop a note in here telling you that while I'm usually a lurker, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading your trip report. Your boys are adorable and they have a great mother who seems to be always there for them and understanding of how hard it can be to be little.

Glad to hear Landon's walking and that he'll get to go behind the bars with Zurg on your upcoming trip. And Carter is such a smart little boy.

Hope you have a fabulous trip and looking forward to reading your next trip report.

Hi Kate. As promised, I lurked thru the entire trip report and loved every minute!

My family and I just visited WDW a few weeks ago. I thought of you when I sent DH into the caramel shop at Epcot. I think we got the wrong one because we didn't really care for it much. And it really must have been the wrong one because I can't think of any reason that I wouldn't like something that someone would meltdown over if it weren't available. I'll have to look more closely next time and make sure I get THE caramel bar.

I can't wait to hear all about your next trip!

I loved being along with you on this trip!!! Enjoy your upcoming trip...can't wait to hear all about it! ;):surfweb:

Thank you! I can't wait to see what fun we will have on this trip. :goodvibes

Bravo! Bravo! Such a wonderful TR and I look forward to the next.

May you & all 3 of your boys have a safe & magical trip back to Disney World! :wizard:

Thank you! I have a feeling these next few days are going to drag by horribly slowly. :rotfl:

What a wonderful trip and TR Kate! And you finished just in time to go back to WDW, how perfect!

Can't wait to hear all about your October trip. popcorn::

Thanks! This TR worked out perfectly, ending just in time for the next trip. I'm glad I had time to finish it before we left.

I really loved reading your trip report! Has made me look forward to the time we take our 2 (one on the way!!!) in a few years time. Yes sadly it will be that long before I get another trip!
Your boys are gorgeous and I can't wait to read your October report. Have a fantastic time! xxx

Thank you! When I was expecting my babies, I used to spend so much time dreaming about what our trips would be like after they were born and I'm happy to say, the trips are even better than I hoped they would be. Congratulations! :)
Thanks! I can't wait to see what will happen on this trip. Carter and Landon are excited, too.

Once again I have very much enjoyed reading your TR! Can't wait to read all about your October trip! Maybe Ill see ya around the world next week! Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks! I'm hoping for low crowds and perfect weather. You all have a wonderful trip, too! :goodvibes

I love your trip report! Your boys are adorable! Have fun at Disney! MNSSHP is the best. I'm bummed we aren't going this year. I can't wait to read your next report! :goodvibes

Thank you! I can't wait to go to MNSSHP. I've been reading about it and trying to balance out exactly what I want to do with exactly what the boys will be capable of doing. Carter's been asking to meet Duffy The Disney Bear. I can't wait to see the Headless Horseman.

You got rid of Carter's "two old guys?" How does he feel about that? :lmao::rotfl2: Looks like you've got some good vinylmations there. You might have to buy some new ones to find something you'll want to trade away.

I'm glad Landon started walking and became a little bit happier with his new found mobility. The mess he made with the brownie was actually a little less than I expected. It looks like it was at least somewhat confined to his face.:rotfl:

I really enjoyed reading your TR. I hope you guys have a fantastic trip and I look forward to reading about it!

I sure did get rid of Carter's two old guys and I refuse to feel bad about it. :rotfl: Jeremy said it would be crazy to base Vinylmation trades on the preferences of a two-year-old. Carter seems to enjoy Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Bullseye, and Wheezy just as much anyway. I think a few new Vinylmations would be reasonable this trip. Just for trading purposes.

Landon walking has made everything so much easier. He can play at playgrounds without getting mulch stuck to his knees and he doesn't have to be carried to and from the car and he's so proud of himself, walking just like everyone else.

The thing with the brownie is that I wasn't expecting any sort of a mess from it. It was a little piece of brownie and how he ended up with brownie all the way to his forehead, I'll never know.

Thank you! I think this trip will be a lot of fun, between all of the fall things and the boys being a little bit older than last time.

What a wonderful trip you had! You survived with the boys all by yourself! You can do anything after that!

Yeah for Landon walking. That is such a milestone! Of course now you have two boys who could be running in two different directions...

I am glad your trip is coming up so soon! We don't have to wait too long for you to start a new TR then!! Have fun!!

Oh gosh, I was behind! I thought that your TR was ending with the fudge, but I was happy to see there was another episode!

Sorry you were stuck with the wiggles for the ride home, I think multiple hours of the wiggles would cause me to spontaneously jump out of of a moving vehicle. :rotfl:

You are so close to your trip! How long are you going to be down for? We'll be down for our last minute quickie tripie on the 4th, so I want to know whether I should be keeping my eyes peeled for an orange double city mini and two super cute boys!

I got behind again Kate, and now your finished!

Thanks so much for sharing your trip, you have a beautiful family and I love your style of writing. Can't wait for the next one!! :thumbsup2

Yay for another update! I thought it was over with the fudge, but I guess that would've had you at WDW forever. Too funny (and RUDE!) about the lady wanting Lost & Found for her missing car! I'm going to guess this wasn't the best day for her. :rolleyes1 Hooray for becoming a passholder and the snacks on the ride home. You're a brave woman, giving a toddler a brownie in the car! He's adorable, even covered in chocolate. :goodvibes

Love your TRs & Can't wait to hear about this next trip. Hope you have a great time & takes lots of pics of those cute boys! :thumbsup2

I'm going with ONE 15 month old and THREE adults, and I'm nervous. You are such a brave soul. Any advice?

I handed Carter and Landon each his sippy cup. After all the playing in the heat, I was sure they'd be thirsty.

With the boys drinking happily, I was able to find the Vinylmation trading box. I asked for number 22.

After the triple meltdown, I envisioned a very different type of drinking (especially at Epcot!!!)

I finally finished. I am so exited to go with my tot. How far apart are your boys? It looks like so much fun, but also such a handful. They really are very handsome. You made me giggle the whole way through-- I love Landon narratives!

It's so hard to leave MK that last time, isn't it? I think we've got leaving down to a fine art, so it's really not too bad any more. Do you all have your next trip lined up yet?

well, that depends on who you ask in my family :lmao: i have about three planned- although Chris doesn't know that yet... i have to let him be the one to "come up with the idea" I do know that it won't be this year. he doesn't have any more time off until after December and i think Maya's teacher would flip. But in my mind, we are going on a short cruise/ MNSSHP/ F&W next year, followed by a long FL is finally done trip the following year, and then followed by a mommy daughter trip.

I love the brownie pic! it always amazes me the places that food ends up on a toddler :lmao:

if i don't get back with you before then, have a great trip!!!! make sure you stop by and give me your link when you start your next report!

I am sooo glad you go to Disney so often :goodvibes
I love your stories, and the pictures of your two boys are priceless.

I have never been to Disney during Halloween, so I am eager to read all about it!!!:)
