I was thinking about ordering something special for our room. We are splurging for concierge for one night, and I thought it would be fun to do something extra. I was wondering if these can be in our room at check-in, and wether any of these would be silly if we have access to the concierge offerings. I found these items on the in-room dining list:
"Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Signature Amenities - Please allow a 24-hour setup time
Indaba- Animal Kingdom Lodge chocolate logo with cookies, brownies and chocolate animals (serves 2 to 4) $40.00
Honeymoon- A cold bottle of our house champagne served with four zebra - striped strawberries (serves 2) $40.00
Kwa Heri- One dozen of our assorted truffles in a customized Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge box (serves 2 to 4) $49.00
Cookies and milk- Enjoy some of our fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies with a carafe of milk (serves 3) $25.00"
I'm sort of guessing the cookies would be out. I'm not intersted in champagne, but the concierge desk said I could do chocolate strawberries by themselves. I think I'm leaning towards the AKL chocolate logo or the strawberries. Maybe someone out there has something else they've done?
