Just wondering if anyone has ever done a meet and greet to get pictures of characters by themselves; kinda like a real quick photo session??? I never really thought of doing it before; but it kinda crossed my mind the other day.

I'd like to know if it's pretty uncommon; or if the characters just really ham-it-up for you?!?!?

I usually get a couple of "candid" shots while waiting my turn in line. I just make sure not to snap a photo if someone's child is in the frame. I love my solo character photos!

I plan on trying this on my trip. I love unique angle photography and would love a pic of Mickey looking straight ahead taken from a ver low vantage point capturing the sky.

I usually travel to Disney solo...and I do meet & greets when I see small lines for characters I love, I even do one character meal. They have always hammed it up for me, both in the parks & at character meals...and have never been to feel uncomfortable. As the Nike slogan says 'JUST DO IT!' Have a great trip & say hi to Donald for me. :thumbsup2

WE have lots of pics of just Characters. WE usually do one with us and one of just them

It's not uncommon at all. Most characters enjoy doing a small "photo call" even. It's very rare someone didn't.

They kept signaling me "one more, one more." :D

Yes, we do this often. Just ask the characters and they will give you 2-3 different poses for you to take photos.

We did it if one of our girls was asleep when we met a character that way their book still had an autograph and a matching photo.

Having friends who work in entertainment, yes. Lol. I'll usually go up for the interaction, take a couple quick pictures with all of us & then ask if I can get a couple of just the character!

One year we took my DD and her 2 friends, they had their picture taken with Aerial, I had purchased the Photo pass. I asked the PP CM if he could take one of just Aerial (I was going to bring it back for my 4 year old niece who loved Aerial at the time) he said he couldn't take it, but I could take one....so I did.

Photopass can't just take photos of the character for you, the photos won't end up on your account anyway. You're free to take as many as you'd like on your camera/phone ect
