Tomorrow I have to cook a ham for our Xmas lunch feast at work Friday. I work Fri., Sat., and Sun. at the hospital.:)
So what about putting my whole ham in a Crockpot and cooking it that way instead of baking it? Then Fri. morning when I get to work I can just re-heat the ham in the Crockpot. Viola! It will have a nice pineapple, cheery, brown sugar glaze.

What cha think?:laughing::santa:

Certainly, it can be reheated on low in the pot.

I have also cooked a ham in the crockpot with good results. Brown sugar, pineapple coat on the ham and wrapped it up with tinfoil before I put it in the pot.

Very moist, doesn't dry out.

I do ham in the crock, using brown sugar and coca cola. A few pineapple rings with maraschino cherries in the centers. Delish! :thumbsup2

My ham is fully cooked & just needs to be heated. I googled "ham crockpot" and came up with tons of simple ways to do it, so yes, that's my plan too. After its all heated, DH will slice it, and we'll put it back into crockpot on "keep warm" or maybe even turned off just to keep it warm since we are doing an all day buffet type meal with people coming and going.
