...rearranged the furniture?

I guess DH got bored yesterday, because he completely rearranged the dinning room.

I could come home and find my DH had done many things :rolleyes1 but that would definitely not be one of them :rotfl2: . Does it look nice?

If I ever saw my DH do anything at all without being asked, I'd probably faint dead away. :faint:

My DH does not believe in rearranging the furniture. I have wanted to try a new arrangement of the bedroom furniture, and he has adamantly put his foot down. If I didn't need him to help move it, I would do it anyway.

If I came home and found that Joe did that, 1.) I would faint dead away because he did something without being asked and 2.) I would wake up and put everything back the way it was and 3.) order in and 4.) stew for a while.

No way... he knows better then to do that. He knows I'm very anal and would have him put it back :rotfl2:

Get those moving men sliding disc things and you can move anything with those!

If I came home and saw the furniture rearranged I would think someone robbed the house:rotfl2: . Dh has a conniption if I rearrange furniture-which I don't do all that often but he isn't big on change.

Good idea. What is it with our men who don't like change? I admit, I am not one to like change, either, but I can handle the furniture being in another place.

I have a furniture rearranging rule. Men, pay attention. Once it hits the floor for the third time, that's where it stays. So ladies, choose wisely.

The only room he would ever be so inclined to do that in would be his own office. He couldn't care less about the rest of the house. But I'm not really much of a furniture rearranger either...

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I used to come home to find the furniture moved around about every 6 months...ALL the furniture in the apartment...every room, every piece! Not only that, but he'll move things around in the kitchen cupboards - and No, he does not cook! He finally stopped doing it after about 25 yrs of marriage.

As for what I did? For the first 5 years I'd say "Thank you" and then ask to have certain things put back where I wanted them or were convenient for me. (Never happened BTW) After that I just gave up because I figured it would all be moved again in about 6 months anyway. :lmao:

Oh - and now he'll tell me before he starts moving things.

Sure, I do it everytime I get angry with DW.

No. The worst thing he ever did while I was at work was buy an enormous television. It was very out of character for him. He usually does so much research before any purchase that he agonizes for weeks about making the right choice. I am the one who moves the furniture around on a whim. Fortunately for him there are only two places the piano can go!

DH used to do this--it makes me crazy. He doesn't cook. However, he is an engineer and so he's constantly telling me that if he moves something, it will make it SO much easier for me. He finally quit when I told him that he could move anything he wanted when he started doing all the cooking. :rotfl2: I prefer to do things my usual, non-efficient way, thanks.

Not sure what I would do if my SO would do that without being asked...heck I cant even get him to do it by asking, what am I talking about? *slaps head* Besides he knows better then to move my stuff. LOL

Now my mother on the other hand is a different story....I used to come home from school at least once a month to the furniture in different spots. Ow talk about pain, when you come in and slam your shin right into the end table that wasnt there a few hours ago. And I dont know how many times I went to put my school stuff on a table I thot was there and it hit the floor instead.

Back to the men arranging stuff thread now..:-D

Yes! DH rearrainged the livingroom furniture right after it was delivered. I was home when it was delivered, he wasn't. When I came home later on that night I was surprized to see it completely rearrainged...have to admit it looked better after he rearrainged it!:rotfl:

DH has NEVER rearranged the furniture. Ever. Ever. Ever. I move things around about once a year (actually did it last weekend :) ). DH doesn't see the need to change.
