I have! Just an hour ago!:headache:

DD and I were leaving the YMCA in pouring rain and decided to go to my brother's house to wait it out. He lives a mile away. By the time we turned down his street, it started to hail. I had to honk the horn to get his attention since the garage door was down. Then it got really bad and loud. Garage door started going up and then all of his roommate's, whose moving out in two weeks, boxes were in the other stall!!!! DB quickly moved what he could so I could sneak in. Unfortunately, I still have damage....BOO! But we are safe and sound and that's all that really matters. ;) Funny thing is, that area of town got his the hardest! My parents, about 5 miles to the Northwest just got a few small pellets and at my house 15 min. North of there didn't get any! Wrong place at the wrong time! Oh well! DD, 2 1/2, said as we got in the car to go home, "Let's hear more crashing mom!" Didn't phase her a bit.

We were at the baseball game waiting to see if it was cancelled. Once it started hailing we left. My son was so scared he was screaming and I could barely hear him.

Yep, baseball sized hail for about 10miles. Had the kids duck down just incase the windows blew. It was very loud. Funny thing hardly any damage, cant see dents unless you look very close. I know of one lady got caught in a bad storm She pulled over crawled in the back seat whole her windows were shattered.

No - thank goodness! But I can't see well enough to drive in the rain anyhow, so if it looks like there's going to be a storm or it's raining already, I stay home..

Glad you're safe, but sorry about the car damage..:sad2:

I was too, about 3 hours ago, but I called my son from a couple blocks away to open the garage door, then flew up the driveway at warp speed. Didn't get any damage, thank goodness. My roof if all glass, so the hail makes really funny noises when it hits the top.

Yup, baseball size and still have the dints to prove it. Luckily that's all I have, as I saw many other cars with busted out windshields after that storm last summer.

Yep. It was marble sized hail, sounded SO loud. Very scary.

I was with my (now) DS14 at a very large mall. We were in the car ready to head over to a sporting good store that had a climbing wall -- just as we pulled out of the parking garage (covered), it starte to hail golf-ball sized hail. We immediately pulled back in and parked -- it let up about 15 mins later.

A couple of years ago, I was standing at a friend's house ringing her doorbell (she wasn't home, darn) when it started to hail -- that lasted for more than 1/2 an hour, and looked like snowdrifts because there was so much. The next thing that hailed down was insurance people and roof repairers...
